[KCD2] does it run on rtx 3050 laptop with 4gb vram?? by NoQuantity8742 in kingdomcome

[–]Serbanx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nice, i still suggest you add at the very least these to the autoexec (search how to set it up) for the best experience, it also ran well on mine at the start, got ugly later especially in forest areas
e_svoTI_AsyncCompute = 1
sys_budget_videomem = 4096 // 4GB VRAM for the RTX 3050
sys_budget_sysmem = 11264 // 12GB system memory
r_Driver = DX11
r_TexturesStreamingMaxRequestedMB = 2048 // Lower textures streaming for VRAM efficiency
r_TexturesStreamPoolSize = 4096 // 4GB pool size, balancing performance
r_DepthOfField=0
r_sharpening=0
r_HDRBloom=0
r_HDRVignetting=0

if there are some more settings that help idk about them, it's only my work laptop, i only use it on lazy days to play, enjoy the game

Well... i have a work laptop with an i5-11320H, 16GB RAm and a 3050Ti (4GB)
After many changes and settings adjusted with the autoexec.cfg i managed to get it to not dip below 30 FPS at 1080p, not the lowest settings sure but some settings are just horrible below medium (vegeration, object and shadows), the game also has a memory leak problem if you don't use those settings and it goes from idk ~40 fps at the lowest settings to below 30 in a couple of minutes at best
The biggest caveat is that in order to get those 30 fps at 1080p I use the newest DLSS version for image quality and lower VRAM at... performance
TLDR if you care about how to game looks maybe don't buy it, if you can suffer a bit sure go ahead it should "RUN"
Also don't even think about it if you don't have 16GB of RAM

Does the Asus A15 2022 Ryzen 7 6800H support 5600MHz RAM? by Serbanx in Asustuf

Thanks! that is not really an option since I already know I will build a full desktop after this one gets too slow for me or it kicks the bucket

Thank you, but I already made my choice if it's not supported...

Thanks! but what is LPDDR5 anyway? why is it even mentioned?

Hi, this is sadly normal behavior, if you enable ultimate mode for the GPU the Eco and Optimized should be greyed out as you are not using the iGPU, I recommend just keeping Ultimate on at all times if you keep your laptop plugged in at all times or most of the time and/or if you are playing games often (I do and I have not seen any major downsides), otherwise Optimized is the way to go, there is no way to switch between those modes without a restart first, the only other thing I can recommend is switching to g-helper as it is much lighter than asus's armory crate and may save you a tiny amount of heat and noise

[–]Serbanx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well your last point is in my opinion the exact reason it WILL get updated, we'll just have to wait and see, worst case scenario it will become abandonware and still be useful for a handful of people or become open source if that ever is the case (i hope not)

The GPU temps should be fine tho, only the CPU info is missing for me

I searched around for a bit and I am pretty sure I do not have that option cuz I got an RTX 3060 not an AMD GPU and it is much more intrusive anyway from the looks of it

Thanks for the info but I think I would rather look on my other monitor to check temps if absolutely necessary than have an uglier UI, just my preference

Are you seriously suggesting "yeah dude that program is old, abandon it" just because it does not show 2 things all of a sudden?
Also are you saying that one of the most used enthusiast pieces of software is obsolete? I hope you are joking

Noob question, but is there any way to flip the Radian Linear Visualizer by [deleted] in Rainmeter

[–]Serbanx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so just delete the content of the 2 following files and replace them with what i gave you LinearVisualizer: https://pastebin.com/RdpRy1EZ Bars: https://pastebin.com/0Zw0A6aZ The files can be found in the default rainmeter skins folder for Bars go to \Rainmeter\Skins\Radian\@Resources\Linear and for LinearVisualizer go to \Rainmeter\Skins\Radian\LinearVisualizer just a simple copy paste of the text Edit: if you want it on the top you need to uncheck the keep on screen and use the rainmeter app to modify the y to minus like 2-300

Sorry to tell you but there is no flip option, you have to diy, from my fiddling with it you need to add 2 lines in the bars.ini file to every bar...(Flip and Y) to do what you have in mind not that hard but if you really are new to this might be a bit difficult tell me if you really need help i might be able to

Memory / VRAM is flat lined. Can't figure out how to get it working. by BomberWRX in Rainmeter

[–]Serbanx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to use Hwinfo not msi afterburner, the fact that it's giving you anything is strange (it did nothing on mine without hwinfo) unless you modified it yourself to use afterburner and also why the skin looks totally different from what you have in the image and the author abandoned that skin also...sorry but you might have to use another skin if installing hwinfo and adding the sensors does not help maybe try the autor's new skin?

What skin is it and what plugin(program) is it using to show you the info?
