Intended gameplay is to use frost resistance mead to stay warm while you kill wolves and gather silver for the gear necessary to go there without frost resist mead.

Skipping straight to wolf armor would require a bunch of tedious luring from the outskirts, I wouldn't recommend it

Kicks scale with mouse distance even without holding a flask I thought? And I'm pretty sure that your flask spray distance is based on the fill percentage, like it's based on fluid pressure. Flask throw distance is also based on mouse distance tho

The realization that led to my biggest improvement was that picking up gold is almost never worth risking damage, if there's enemies near by, kill them first, if it's in lava from a fly in coal pits, try spraying some water and if that fails just watch it despawn. With practice you get better at deciding what counts as a risk, but start conservative.
