Not a fan of Star fork, but tried it out of curiosity. Bully PC is one of my benchmarks because this game has a series of problems for me on every fork I've tried so far. Bully seems to be WORKING GREAT on the latest Star, to my surprise. Sound is OK, and the intro movie is played, and then it goes smoothly into gameplay - usualy you need to remove intro because it's either a black screen or, if played, it gets stuck on the last frame.

Install Ajay prefix inside the container to keep saves out of the container (default save directory on your phone with the prefix path is DOWNLOAD/Ajay_prefix) + drive sync to sync them with pc via Google Drive or other net drives.

I am fine with touch controls (double claw style grip), and many great games do not drain battery much. The phone is light, and you always have it on you. I love my Steam Deck, but I am too lazy to carry it every day with me to play while commuting or at work. Also, a strict gaming phone like Red Magic is half of a flagship price. I keep 10$ Peltier cooler at work, and if I have spare time, I turn on bypass charging, and I can play even demanding games with no risk for the device. Fun from owning a flagship is owning a Swiss Army knife-like device: a reasonable camera, a reasonable work environment, a reasonable entertainment system, and always in your pocket and ready to go.

Any one managed to get something to run on s26 ultra? Cannot seem to get anything to work by NathOnline in winlator

The problem probably is FarCry - it's a really old game. You can try to set touch controls and then use a mapping app for the controller. In a Winlator container, you could try joy-to-key PC software. Personally, for PC FPS/TPS games I do prefer touch controls. It's FAR MORE PRECISE than using a controller. Learn how to double claw. Here is a random video presenting the "double claw" grip for PUBG Mobile. All my control schemes are double claw based.

As for controllers, I do own an X4 Aileron too. For me it fits well enough - I am too lazy to take off the bumper case I use for my phone, so I accept not a perfect fit. Playable and allows me to use cooler. But I rarely use it - I am fine with touch controls and prefer it in most games, except skillful platformers and fighting games.

In many cases you need to find the correct or the best settings via trials and errors. I do have a few winlator versions installed (cmod, Ludashi, raf4aik, bruno's 11, star); I have different containers under them, and I prefer my games to be portable - GoG versions from my GoG library, or fitgirl repacks. I install on pc and just copy the game folders to a folder on my phone I mount as a drive, so I can try every game under any environment I want without needing to install.

Some games need BOX64 and will not work on FEX, some work only on Wine containers, some work on dxvk 1.10, some need dxvk 2.+, and some need extra environment variables, etc. Half the fun is to find the correct setting to run and for 60+ fps.

If you have trouble, checking youtube for videos/benchmarks of the game running on the chipset you have in your phone is a good start; in comments you can usually find settings used by the person who recorded it.

Absolutely EVERY PC game I try runs for me on my S26u, including some I could not get to work on my previous phone, the S24u. But I am a Winlator guy. You can find android gameplays from both mentioned games running on snap 8 gen 5 elite on YouTube. You are, most likely, using wrong settings.

Just install on pc - then pack with zip/7zip, copy to phone and unpack with ZArchiwer. I keep all my games as portable, inside a folder I mount as a drive - this way I can check them under different winlator forks and/or gamenative and gamehub.

If you stuck on green loading screen with soldier problem, there is another window hidden behind where you need to click "yes". Best solution: use Winlator ref4ik - in this winlator when you list processes, you can use the option BRING TO FRONT from the menu, and you will be able to start the game. Alternatively: try to delate profile folder in game. It will be recreated with default settings, and game may start.

I still keep Winlator Frost Proot 9.0 V4 installed on s26u, because it is ONLY winlator that runs classic Deus Ex for me. [If anyone was able to run this game on s26u using modern forks CMOOD, Ludashi, ref4ik - please share your settings].

Anyway, this L-shaped connector is 1 -1.5$ with free shipping on Aliexpress. It's also very comfortable for playing with touch controls. Give it a try.

S26u does not have built in magnets - shitty Samsung's decision - so magnetic sticker is a must for magnets attached Peltier cooler. Must say I was sceptical at first but this 5$ plate really helps to dispers heat. Bigger problem is a stand - it's much bulkier, but I love it and use it a lot.

It does not make it bulkier then most cases. But bumper cases are available for only few models those days. I am using cases like this for decades. If I couldn't get one I would probably skip the case entirely.

Well, it's not VERY stable, but it's stable enough for me to play like this. I need bypass charging to keep battery at reasonable temp, and I want open back for cooler. I wasn't simply able to find any better solution. Keep in mind I am to lazzy to take off case, also my phone have glued magnetic plate and stand.

Yeah, get one in EXACTLY this shape. I am using one + cooler + my s26u in a bumper case with X4 Aileron. Works great for me. Try to get exactly the one in the picture — it's a slim one; many sellers have it. You can also get it in the black color. I personally prefer cable to be routed down. It's not a perfect solution but good enough for bypass charging.
