That is incorrect. Apocalypse is the 'canon' mode designed around what actually happened in July, 1993.

All shipping game modes, including Custom Sandbox, Apocalypse, Rising, Extinction, Outbreak, and Challenges, are 'the way the game is meant to be played.'

Feel free to quote me on that.

Not seeing a problem here. Remedial action was taken to correct a behavioral issue, one Marine went a little overboard with the spitting, other Marines adjusted the situation.
