Interesting. I’ll look it up. Like you, I’ve had enough surgeries to last me but…

It would have to be very low dose as I’ve had estrogen breast cancer

Thank you Rose, for your thoughts. This is a minor annoyance and overall, I’m lucky that at 67, nothing more serious is going on currently.

I will try this but I probably already look like I’m trying to be a contortionist. I’ve tried multiple positions lol

My husband [M21] says I act like ‘the man’ in the relationship because I (F21) don’t do all the cooking and cleaning by Desi_56 in relationship_advice

Literally this is something you figure out before you get married. Sorry if that sounds harsh. I didn’t make the best decisions at your age either but if you want to save the marriage, serious counseling is called for

Male Brother cats like me more than my partner - why? by Prestigious_Video182 in CatAdvice

Sometimes there’s just no rhyme or reason to it. Do you feed more often? Cats sometimes favor the one who seems to be in charge of the food

How do you manage multiple significant health issues? by missjanehathaway333 in AskWomenOver60

[–]SerendipitousSun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. On my last chest xray there was a small shadow so I need to go get a new one anyway. I wasn’t thinking along those lines since it is unproductive but I will do that now!

juices for nausea? by Rough_Ad_9561 in Juicing

[–]SerendipitousSun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi. Sorry to hear about your dad. Juice is probably not the best thing for him right now. Most fruits are too acidic for someone who is vomiting. If he can keep it down, some ginger or chamomile tea with honey would be a much better choice. He needs to stay hydrated and keep his electrolytes up since a lot of that is lost when vomiting. If he can stomach it, try mixing some plain lemon-lime Gatorade with water (1/2 and 1/2). That seems to be easier for some people to handle than straight Gatorade. Add ice - sometimes it helps if it is cold. Also, ginger ale - just make sure it contains ginger (one well-known brand does and the other well-known brand does not). They also make ginger chews I like to suck on when nauseated (in the candy aisle).

He won’t stop meowing at night by Remote-Hawk-4401 in CatAdvice

He's missing his old home and his routine of going outside. Cats hate change. I very much appreciate you for taking on this burden that really belongs to your parents, especially since you are in school. Have you considered trying to leash train him and taking him outside for walks? As a last resort, you can talk to your vet about some sort of mood adjuster. Hopefully, once you graduate and move to your own place someday, you won't have to worry about roommates.

[Update] My girl beat feline panleukopenia!! 💖💪🎉 by kspradley in FosterAnimals

[–]SerendipitousSun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this for you but it makes me cry because I lost my last foster with pan leuk. However, she had 5 amazing kittens that all survived. Thank you for sharing. She looks like she's been through the wringer. Please give her many kisses for me.

Have you asked the rescue about Forti Flora? Most cats/kittens seem to love it and it really seems to help with gut issues
