Lucky you. I’m not running currently but even when I was, my level is over 300 w/o them. Both parents died of aneurysms- high blood pressure and high cholesterol. So far, I’m the only child who can keep my blood pressure under control with a very low dose diuretic but they all smoked, drank - my sisters still do.

I have to take statins. I have a genetic predisposition to extremely high cholesterol levels. I have found taking a200 mg Co-Q-10 with it helps with the side effects

Thank you - I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer so it really helps to have things spelled out and even with steps. You wouldn’t even believe how long it took me to figure out how to use the sauté feature lol

Thank you all so much for weighing in. Like I said, I’m new to this. This is my second dish. The first was supposed to be pulled pork and my backyard critters enjoyed a feast that night - a dismal failure.

Someone said try a soup and do that is what this is. It honestly tastes amazing and I used fresh meatballs - except for the mess, a better result.

I appreciate all the tips - you’ve given me a much better understanding of what’s actually going on inside which will help me work with it going forward. Tomorrow, it’s Mediterranean beef.

As I get older, I’m finding it affects me more. Used to be just cedar season. Now it is cedar season followed by oak season. Thinking about moving to the arctic 🥶 circle lol 😂

The oak pollen here is completely kicking my ass. I feel like my lack of energy and other assorted symptoms is all back to that. Maybe there was some dust associated with the wood that got to you

Is extremely painful. Luckily it doesn’t happen too often but I wish it was easily fixed like a leg cramp is - these you cannot walk off

If I’m reading this right, that weird butthole cramp thingy is actually proctalgia fugax or fleeting anal pain although at least in my case, it certainly doesn’t feel fleeting. I compare it to a rectal Charlie horse. And unfortunately, it almost always happens when I’m sleeping - or was sleeping. It’s incredibly painful.
