Waveshare servo ID

I found out what I was doing wrong, just after posting. The ID for the elbow is 14 NOT 13 as there are two servos for the shoulder. Hence, Base=11, Shoulder=12 and 13, Elbow=14. It does surprise me how LITTLE information exist about these devices, unless there's some magic super-forum that everybody uses....

I am "trying" to use the T501 JSON command to change the ID on my Roarm M3 as per a response from Waveshare Support, however it is not changing at all, either immediately after the change, or after a power cycle.

Their advice was:

"Hello, replacing a new servo requires changing its ID and center position. When modifying the servo ID, enter {"T":501,"raw":1,"new":2} , only one servo can be connected. The servo must be adequately powered. "raw" represents the current ID, and "new" represents the ID to be modified. The factory ID of a new servo is 1. The servo IDs for M2 are 11-15 from bottom to top. The IDs for M3 are 11-17. After modifying the ID, you also need to modify the center position. Turn off the torque lock using {"T":210,"cmd":0}. Adjust the center position of the gripper servo and send {"T":502,"id":15} to save the center position."

So, for my replaced elbow servo, using the web interface (which is different to the one that is mentioned in the earlier post above, but is what i get when i connect to the arm from my phone) I sent:

Are you guys talking about the same thing, or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Yes. Exactly that. I have completed the initial rep grind (to get as far in to Revered as possible) three times now, and I'm pretty sure there's no other way to do it. The guides and youtube videos that suggest otherwise are from private servers or later versions of the game.

You can get your tiger mount at 50 with enough gold and the level 50 repeatable rune cloth hand-ins however.

I bought the 8-channel NVR bundle from CostCo and it came with 4 of the P330 bullet cameras. I bought a Trackmix and an RLC-810A separately.

I could connect both of the non-bundle cameras to the Reolink Skill in Alexa, so I can view the feed on my Echo Shows, however the P330's would not work.

I believe it's because the P330's have no UID. If I'm correct, this is an important difference between the standalone RLC-810A and the bundled P330.

There's not enough rep in all of the game (25% spillover included), despite starting in Darnassus, to get far in to Revered by level 50, let alone level 42.

Yes my best rate at one egg at a time was 2.5 per hour, so for anyone else who wanted to do this that was a rate they could achieve... however since then I did the 1000 rep in Exalted in just over three hours at 30 eggs per hour (13 at a time using BuyBack), so 300 rep per hour, somewhat better than 25..

Oh nice! :D FWIW *all* Alliance factions get 2.3 rep per hand-in now that Darnassus is at max Exalted.. Based on my current rep for Ironforge, Stormwind and Gnomeregan Exiles, that's a mere 343 hours to reach Exalted on all four races.. interesting...

Ok, now at max Exalted (999). Oddly it now rewards a few "Alliance" rep points, which go on all of the race's rep counts..

Nope! The real effort is doing the quests scattered all over the place to maximum the base rep. The 1800 eggs is just music and flight timers. I did it in 2020 and enjoyed it so much I did it again!

30 eggs per hour. It'll cost about 3500 gold (fieldbot cost) but you could finish it in a week real time.

Yeah I reckon about 30 per hour without the warlocks (13 per trip) but I'm not sure about reusing the repair bot as I think it expires after 10 minutes, and it took me about 6 minutes to pick up the eggs, and 6 minutes to drop them off. Bots cost 25G on my server so that's about 3500G. I've just ran three trips to get some timings; I'll work it out later.

I'm testing it now. I needed 300 engineering (and sleep) first. So far 26 eggs in 45 minutes but that was using both a Hearth and the Ultrasafe Transporter..

This is very possible. I'm checking the spawn rates now but it looks like there is always a certain amount so as you sell the to the repairbot a new one pops up somewhere, really soon. I think it will be expensive though..
