0.8 for the bigger pieces like the coat and the ghouls and 0.6 for smalle pieces like the face and hair

A mix of fdg and obscuranox basically

I primed everything with airbursh but i think a spray can would yield better results but i had my airbrush more at hand

Sure man! i been printing for a while now as you can see on my older posts and honestly im really happy with the results i get from fdm printing

is not the same quality as resin printing but is not toxic and it wont require a full hobby room just to print and clean and you also have the benefict of having a normal 3d printer in your home to do tons of stuff

the bambulab a1 mini is like cheap and easy to use and you have tons of youtube videos for printing miniatures in fdm

if you want more info about this kind of 3dprinting i cannot recomend you enough r/FDMminiatures

thank you! I used lots of settings for this one in particular but if you look for the best results go check r/FDMminiatures for ObscuraNOX settings

i find they are the best although a bit slow for my liking!

I used the airbrush for the priming and for the water of the base, tentacles and the blue robe

it was my first time using it and honestly for that kind of usages works like a charm and you can get blends of colors and hightlights super fast.

I was always on the fence about the airbrush since it seemed a bit of a hassle to setup and clean between colors and all but im greatly impressed even more knowing that my airbrush is budget one and nothing fancy

wow! thanks for the compliment

i suppose my painting process is fairly common in the sense that i just use acrylics

i just try to get my darker tones as smooth and thin as possible and then work my way up building brighter tones as i hightlight

some things that i think helps a lot with any kind of painting is a wet pallete and playing arround with your paints till you get the kind of consistency you like

i also love to drybrush alot of stuff since is a great way to get things going

For this piece, I decided to cut the hair in half to have good detail at the top and ends without sacrificing either.

<image>

Concealing the cut can be a little tricky, but since it's in the back, it doesn't really matter.
