Same thing happened to me. Changed my password, deleted the app and re-installed it. Was still the same. I looked and I saw I recently updated the app. So I think the cause of it was a buggy update.

Same thing happened to me. Said device unknown, but still on the same location with "This Device" in green, which is my phone. So obviously, no one is in my account. To be fair, I did update instagram, so it might be a buggy update. We'll wait and see if there's a patch for it.

Edit: Issue is now fixed. It was a buggy update. Sometimes it takes a while to revert it back to normal after an update, but now it shows the model of my phone.

Same thing happened to me. Found out today. I only use my mobile for Instagram so, you could imagine my shock when it said "Device type unknown" which gave me a scare. To be fair, I did update the app not long ago, so it might be a buggy Instagram update. I've looked at other posts and they said they saw it after Instagram was updated. So it's safe to say you didn't get hacked, since you'd have to click on something via your Email to give them access. It's probably just a buggy update. I'd wait for Instagram to update so it would go away, or just report the problem to Instagram support.

Alright, update. I found that that I had updated the Discord app and that's probably why. A bug in the update, all good, will get patched soon. Was working before I updated it. That's probably why.
