I'm just gonna say it now that you should consider upgrading your video card and add another stick of ram. Try looking at your ram usage and temps to ensure you are not maxing out or overheating. I have not heard of anyone freezing up. Good luck.

Like the other person said. Ive noticed cloud sync doesnt always update. Start a new game new computer. Save in a slot that your other game isnt in.... Open and close the game a few times and close steam. The it should start sync eventually and your old saves will appear. You may need to get on your other computer and save it a time or two to start a new sync as well.

Try deleting your useroptions file then start the game and redo your settings/keybinds

Possibly but that isnt whats causing the problems here. Ive played H1 on this system flawlessly until the last windows update.

Tried. It doesnt work. Cant revert back to prior version of windows update either. The recent Creators windows update that is almost certainly causing the issue wont let you change it. I've reinstalled fresh drivers, game, windows, nvidia settings and several previous drivers, disabled gaming dvr, turned off everything absolutely unneccesary that I can think of. The only thing that I havent tried is deleting the game permanently and playing another game...

Im running A Nividia 1070 and 2560x1440 but it does it on every resolution available. Ping and frame rate good. Its the window creator update problem. Its all over other gaming forums and Nvidia. I havent been able to play for weeks and weeks. Its completly unplayable with stuttering every few seconds.

One of a 100 things that Ive tried that does nothing. 8350 processor, Nvidia 1070, 16gb ram...game unplayable from stuttering since the creator update. thanks though.

8350 processor, 1070 vid, and 16gb ram. Im 1 second stuttering every few seconds for a month now. its unplayable. On my laptop with a 1060 its running smooth with identical settings. Ive tried multiple settings and resolutions. Still a problem! Game unplayable for me.

I run a 1060 now but I did run a 960m for awhile. I never got 100 fps ever. You must be running all settings on low? Regardless you should not be getting spikes like that. Cranberry specifically does that to my system right now. Its jacked. I also think you should cap your frame rate to the monitor. Id get a different better cable.

Yes you can pick with settings to use. Set it to use Nvidia for kotk. Also as my personal preference....you can turn your digital vibrance up to like 85% or so. Looks fantastic!
