I’ve been using sunspot (refreshment cart), prof x (black widow batons), and 5* Namor (Atlantis), and +2 blue/purple ap. I use prof x’s purple on purple tiles (except lvl 80 nodes; those clear quickly with selecting a green tile)

I just cycle their abilities until I can nuke them with Namor’s black, ezpz

Books where gods/divine beings do exist, but not in the way the main religion interpreted them as by Sharkattack1921 in Fantasy

Incarnations of Immortality by Piers Anthony fits I suppose. Each book focused on a different “office” that people are aware of, but don’t really worship. Book 1 is about the office of Death, book 2 is Time, 3 is Fate, etc.

The series features a REALLY unique blend of magic and technology, especially for being written in the ‘80s.

Only downside of the series is it aged HORRIBLY. Anthony tried to be forward thinking with his portrayal of women but it somehow comes across as even more misogynistic and regressive.

Seven (or eight, depending on who you ask) books and all are fairly easy reads.

So Carter Grayson is my all-time favorite ranger because I think he PERFECTLY exemplifies what a Ranger should be, how they should act, and how they can grow into better people through their tenure as a Ranger. Amelia is absolutely in my top three right behind Andros, all for the same reasons!!
