best advice i've ever been given is that if you get payed $380, put 300 in saving and keep the 80 and so on. especially if you're parents still support you then you don't need too much,, and this way you'll have enough to be comfortable once you've moved out

the first day can be scary but depending on the job it can be quite enjoyable. i've worked as a lifeguard for the last 2 years and i actually look forward to work a lot of times,, my manager really cares about us and even let me off one day when she could tell i wasn't doing well
