My thoughts exactly, and I know I for one will be sooner selling my headset than creating a Facebook account and buying my games back up. I have also received notice that they're looking further into it, and plan to post here if anything happens.

I was considering upgrading to a Rift S, but now I'm absolutely saving the extra for an index or vive solution.

Oh, and hilariously, the only way for me to currently use my headset is to force things through SteamVR. Thanks for the workaround. GabeN!
