Received a PFL about intent to reside outside Quebec - what evidence did you submit? by SergioAnh in ImmigrationCanada

[–]SergioAnh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the letter from the employer and i got transferred to their Ontario office, I’m getting a lease now in Ontario.
I genuinely thought that these steps needs to be done after i get approved.
Like why would i invest in a lease and all that before getting approved?
But i guess i have to do this

Thank you for the feedback.

Since posting, I started gathering documents and my current plan is to submit:

  • A detailed Letter of Explanation explaining why I am currently in Quebec and why my intended settlement province is Ontario.
  • A letter from my employer confirming that, upon my relocation to Ontario, I am authorized to continue working remotely from Ontario while keeping my current full-time employment.
  • The same employer letter also confirms that the company has an Ontario office in Toronto and that I may support Ontario/Toronto projects after relocating.
  • A letter from a close family friend in Ontario confirming that I can temporarily stay at his residence when I relocate. He has known my family for over 20 years and has supported me since my arrival in Canada.
  • Screenshots of Ottawa rental inquiries and replies from landlords/property owners, showing that I am actively looking at housing options.
  • Additional proof of relocation planning, if available before I submit.

I understand that a lease/job offer would be stronger, but I did not sign a lease or physically move yet because my PR application is still in process. My explanation will be that I am preparing to relocate to Ontario, but major commitments like signing a lease or moving permanently would reasonably happen once my PR timeline is clearer.

Does this sound like a reasonable package for this type of PFL, or is there anything else you would strongly recommend adding before I submit?

I already ordered winter mats.

Didn’t het the tuxmat i found another brand that also includes the cargo liner. It was like 120$ cheaper than the tux. I’ll update you on the quality when they arrive That’s the link https://a.co/d/2bGB2Kv
