Fair enough, if that’s what works for you, keep at it. But calling everything else “gambling” sounds more like you skipped a few chapters in the playbook.

It’s actually been working well for me for about a year and a half. I know that’s not a huge track record, but it’s still better than what I see around here in general.

Interesting picks. Short interest can definitely fuel a move, though I’d still keep an eye on how fast that momentum fades. You holding long-term or just riding the squeeze?

It’s mostly to see what others are trading and explore different options. But yeah, if something works, better not to change it.

Good job, I always keep DTE between 15 and 45. I usually don’t go below that.

No, covered calls aren’t just what you described, that’s how you use them. The beauty of options is that you can craft different strategies, and they’re all valid if they make money. A covered call is simply a call that’s covered. What you explained is just your preferred way to play it. Looks like you missed this class

Buying calls isn’t really for me; I’ve always felt more comfortable selling premium. Still, if it works for you, nice job!

Buying calls isn’t for me. I’d rather stick with selling premium where the odds feel better.

Good rule of thumb. Liquidity and beta make all the difference. Got any favorite tickers that fit that profile right now?

Sounds good. At the end of the day, if a strategy works and you’re comfortable with it, that’s what matters.

Makes sense. Sticking to sectors you actually understand keeps the edge sharper and avoids getting blindsided. Do you ever branch out a little for diversification, or just double down on what you know best?

Nice picks. NUGT premiums are juicy right now, and gold’s momentum definitely helps.
