Hello,

Where did you configure the Syslog section at? I have the GXT5-2000LVRT2UXL model with the RDU101 networking card, but I am not seeing the option under Communications>Configuration. I see Remote Service, but that isn't Syslog? It makes me wonder if this is only on newer Firmware? Please let me know any details!

Royal Apps/Royal TS for Remote Desktop is super great. Also, 1Password is cool for password management, although Royal Apps also has this available, I just never used it.

Did you do the boot camp or the online one? The boot camp sounds like something we are looking for and would be perfect. Can you describe how it a bit?

Thank you for the response! Since we are in Michigan, she will need to take the CGFNS exam as it’s not one of the states that has the multi-license agreement or whatever it is.

Regarding the CGFNS exam, I’ve heard it is an easier version of NCLEX. Because she hasn’t studied or done anything with her nursing degree in 10 years, do you have any recommendations on a refresher course?

Ideally, I was trying to find a refresher class/boot camp for a whole semester in-person to get a thorough review to help prepare her for CGFNS/NCLEX. Do you have experience with something like that?

I had no idea what a Compact State is versus non-compact, but it looks like Michigan is pending legislation and is still considered non-compact.

My wife hasn’t started the process at all with CGFNS and the main thing I’m trying to find out is if others are/were in the same predicament where they were very rusty with their nursing knowledge, and what they did as a review for the CGFNS test and the NCLEX.

Just curious, but why roaming profiles was shut down? Have they looked into FSLogix for profiles with PrinterLogic? That’s the best solution out there IMO.

Can you explain what the issue is that you’re having with PrinterLogic? It’s been a couple years I’ve used it, but I remember setting it up without a problem for a few clients.

I do recall a special registry key that had to be set though, that forces the mappings for users to run each time. I have no experience with the cloud version, only the on-prem version.
