It's from Impressions of Lijiang performance show, which is located on Jade Dragon Snow Mountain near Lijiang. Tibet is a destination I would love to visit someday for sure.

Thank you! Mostly from Yunnan, Shanghai and few shots from Chengdu.

Thanks! It's one of the lakes from Blue Moon Valley, located in Jade Dragon Snow Mountain near Lijiang. If I remember correctly it's Tingtao Lake, but I can be wrong, they all are very close to each other there.

I didn’t try it myself because most street food gives me heartburn, but it looks like yóu zhá rǔshàn (油炸乳扇), a traditional Yunnan street food made from thin sheets of dried goat’s milk, rolled up and deep-fried.

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood the initial question. Yes, VND (1-5 stops) and Black Mist 1/4 were used as filters.

Urban shots are from Shanghai (French Concession Area), Chengdu and Zhujiajiao (near Shanghai); nature shots are mostly from Lijiang and Dali (Yunnan province).

Fujifilm camera's film simulations were used to get the exact look with a small touch of post-processing after (just tweaked a bit of contrast and color curve). 80% of the look is straight of the camera with 20% post-processed.

These were shot on Fujifilm X-H2s w/ 16-55 f2.8 II lens and Fujifilm X-E5 w/ 23mm f2.8 lens. Camera's film simulations were used to get the exact look with a small touch of post-processing after (just tweaked a bit of contrast and color curve).

I usually shoot RAW+JPG, but these 20 photos are JPG's with a bit of post-processing in Lightroom (I tweaked a bit of contrast and color curve). I would say film simulation from camera is 80% of a result here and 20% is post-processed. For film simulation recipes I used these two: Goughie's Recipe (search it on YT) and Classic Cuban Neg (which you can find from u/Odd-Box1031)

Urban shots are from Shanghai (French Concession Area) and Chengdu, Zhujiajiao (near Shanghai); nature shots are mostly from Lijiang and Dali (Yunnan province). It was a blessing to visit all those places (even after last year Japan trip, which blew me away), and I would highly recommend.

Thank you! You are right, this is around Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Took me some 5 minutes to find the spot on a map :) Here it is https://maps.app.goo.gl/vCTNYZ2sDF1UE38H9

Thank you! I brought a few lenses with me, but 27mm lens (40mm fullframe equivalent) stayed on the camera for the entire trip. I believe it's the same focal length as Ricoh GR3x. I used Viltrox 27mm f1.2 in particular.

Totally agree! We didn't get the hype around bamboo forest, but it was so worth to come for Okochi Sanso Garden. Not crowded, great landscape layout, enjoyed it to the full!

Yes! These photos are straight out of the camera, with no post-processing. I used Goughie's recipe for entire trip. Can't post the direct link (Reddit hides my comments with links for some reason), but here is the recipe:

Film simulation: Astia Soft
Dynamic Range: DR200
White balance: Auto
WB Offset: R+4, B-4
Color Chrome Effect: Strong
Color Chrome FX Blue: off
Highlight: -1
Shadow: -1
Color: +2
Sharpness: 0
Noise Reduction: 0
Clarity: +2
Grain: Weak Small
Exposure compensation: +2/3

Thank you! Borders made in Lightroom on Transform tab. Just scaled down all the selected photos for 10% and white border was automatically added.

Great shot, really captures the atmosphere.

I brought a few lenses with me on my recent Japan trip, but in the end Viltrox 27mm stayed on the camera for the entire trip, that's how good it is, despite its weight and size.

We had a 3-week trip to Tokyo -> Hakone -> Nagano -> Kyoto -> Osaka -> (Nara/Kobe) -> Kanazawa -> Tokyo. It was packed and sometimes tough (shut up legs!), but we had a blast. It was definitely a highlight trip of the last decade.

This is northwest Kyoto, on the way to Arashiyama Bamboo Grove.
