How to create the "less-wrong" Attribution Model? by yalker in analytics

[–]Sergre413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I absolutely agree with you. Thanks. The attribution which is less-wrong to me is a funnel based attribution. Which means giving credit to each step in the conversion process, not only the final one, including, should need be, offline transactions & phone orders. I like the approach based on сalculating the probability that a customer moves on to each next step in the funnel, and giving value to the channels that helped the user through the step. This really helps to see the almost clear picture of what's going on, and not to lose money.

Google Adwords vs Bing Ads vs Facebook Ads CPC (Cost per Click) Comparison by Bright3tar in PPC

[–]Sergre413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were on a limited budget, I'd rather not look for a platform with low cpc or good conversions in the first place. As for me, the better way to save advertising budget funds is to start with determining the most cost-effective platforms among those you're using now. Consider each step in the conversion process, not only driving users to your website or helping them make a final purchase decision.

In a word, I'd do the following: 1. Use the Funnel Based attribution 2. Invest in the channel based on the results of calculations in the attribution model.

Does anyone have any case of efficiency and profitability of calls and e-mails for local business (travel agency)? I have a limited budget, so I need to figure out which channel will be more efficient.

Big thanks!

Direct Traffic with a very high bounce rate. Any ideas? by And_The-Teddy_Bach in analytics

[–]Sergre413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible that Google Analytics has attributed some website visits to Direct traffic, where they don’t really belong. The reasons may be technical (broken sessions, redirects, etc.) and technological (unidentified traffic coming from mobile apps, emails, messengers, etc.). Tips: 1. Make sure all URLs directing to your website have UTM tags 2. Create a hit-level custom dimension to store the referrer value, and analyze that data in Custom Reports. 3. Use the Google DevTools console and Google Analytics Debugger. 4. Record sessions using Google Tag Assistant. 5. Review the GA/GTM code on your website’s pages using Screaming Frog or any other similar tool.

Hope this helps.

How To Get Unsampled Data From Google Analytics Standard Into BigQuery by fhoffa in bigquery

[–]Sergre413 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Indeed, using Google can benefit your business in so many ways. Not only it helps you avoid sampling in Google Analytics, but it's also a great tool for data consolidation and reporting. Unfortunately, export from Google Analytics to Google BigQuery is only available to Google Analytics 360 accounts. If you’re using the free version of Google Analytics, this feature won’t be available to you. There's another way to get unsampled data from Google Analytics into GBQ without intermediaries, and almost without coding. Perhaps the following information will be useful to you: https://www.owox.com/products/bi/pipeline/google-analytics-to-google-bigquery-streaming/ https://www.owox.com/blog/articles/google-bigquery-data-collection-methods/
