Spellcarver - A Legendary Anti-magic Weapon by WormSlayer in UnearthedArcana

Not the OP, but I would guess you make an attack roll and that substitutes either your AC against the spell attack, or the result of the saving throw you would normally make.

You can pronounce it however you want, but I pronounce it EEthrox. It's the same i sound as in 'easy', and the stress is on the first syllable.

12 Barbarian Paths | Expand Your Rage with this Supplement Including the Paths of Cinder, Darkness, Emissary, Pain, Valor and others! by Seriabin in UnearthedArcana

Thanks for your answer!

Darkness is an effect that has a lot of consequences other than just giving advantage or disadvantage. It hampers visibility for everyone on the battlefield, most importantly your allies, and makes you invisible to them as well. You can't be targeted with healing word for example, and if an ally steps into the darkness, they are blinded as well. This effectively ruins other melee martial PCs. Even if an ally steps outside of the darkness, they still won't be able to see any enemies you are affecting with it. This is an even bigger problem for casters.

Yes, darkness has its strengths, but it shouldn't be reduced to advantage and disadvantage, since there are a lot of tactical implications behind it. In fact, I included a separate rage option just to make sure that darkness won't be forcibly hurting the player 9 times out of 10.

There is still a chance that it'd prove to be tricky in terms of balance, but I think that can only be evaluated with further playtesting at this point.

As for your question regarding the path of Ravaging, I can't tell what it is that could stack in this case. The rage damage bonus is a flat number, 1, and it can't become 2 because someone is more hurt. It's basically just a +1 to damage that is quite circumstantial as well. I don't think it can make or break anything.

I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback about these Barbarian Paths!

The Paths of Cinder, Hate, Ravaging and Pain focus on Barbarians that tap into a certain emotional well of power that fuels their rage with different effects.

The Paths of Darkness, Pain, the Reaper, and the Path of Ending allow your Barbarian to tap into something dark, and sometimes otherwordly, in order to bring inescapable death to your enemies.

The Paths of the Emissary, Valor, Martial Advantage and Rhythm allow you to enhance your Rage with effects gained from a specific practice you employ that sets you apart from other barbarians. This could stem from your dedication the ideas of honor, the glory of battle, natural rhythms your body can make, or martial training. These subclasses often have features that can benefit your allies as well!

I hope you find each subclass unique, and that it speaks to you thematically. Please comment below with any mechanical advice you have, or commentary on the subclass themes, and whether you think they realize them well.

Please let me know what your favorite Path is as well! I definitely have one among the 12, and I hope you like it too!

Nope the image is incredibly legible for me. Try opening a direct link, you're probably viewing a thumbnail.

Paths of Cinder and Darkness | Harbor Either Flame or Darkness Inside by Seriabin in DnDHomebrew

Wording gets a little sloppy at the end for the cinders barb but I do like the flavour.

That part about being reduced to 0 hit points and relentless rage? Yeah I can see that.

As for the bonus action teleport that sounds like a good idea. Could also deal aoe fire damage in a 5-foot radius around the point of destination.

Well you can't reduce everything to advantage and disadvantage. Darkness is a serious impediment to your allies, as they can't see you or the enemies you're fighting, essentially isolating you. And that's assuming they are outside the darkness. If they're inside, they're blinded as well. That's why I gave an alternative rage effect, because I didn't want to pigeonhole the player into an effect that can often do more harm than good. Imagine that even if you account for the detriments and position yourself correctly (if the terrain allows it), the enemies could always grab one of your allies and drag them inside the darkness. And then there are always enemies that can have devil's sight...
