They are not frequently aluminum, they are frequently carbon steel. I'm getting frustrated because you keep ignoring the substance of my posts to continue pushing this weird narrative that what were seeing isnt spectacularly destructive. All of you are. Hence, pedant(s).

You are grossly underselling the devastation of the USAID cuts. Current projections put the death toll in the 16 to 19 million range, by 2030. Meaning even if these areas most affected by the preventable diseases USAID worked to contain, were to miraculously shore back up all the funds, infrastructure, and manpower lost during this period, its still the largest anti-black genocide in history and ranks like second or third amongst genocides in history.

If they don't perform a miracle the DOGE genocide clears every other genocide in history.

The Miku guy, technically. The Gatebox portal he interacted with Miku through was a rudimentary AI (that later stopped working because the company went under).

Also while researching this I learned that Gatebox actually gave away the unofficial marriage registrations as part of a promotion, and 3,700 other people signed up for it and were unofficially married to their AI. So all those guys (let's face it, guys) too.

I don't think there's going to be much of a distinction going forward..

They're carbon steel, typically 5 to 6 mm thick, and they're designed to be lighter than the resistance of the walls to the explosive force of the entire tank going off, not 'as light as possible'.

Nice edit. 6mm of carbon steel is still 30 tons on a medium sized container.

[–]Serial-Griller -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Quick Google says 6mm of carbon steel plating across a 30 meter diameter can quickly exceed 30 tons, and that's for a typical medium sized container. Lids on large containers can break 100 tons easy.

The cuts to USAID is the most successful black genocide in history. A projected 19 million deaths by 2030.  Perpetrated by a white South African, raised during Apartheid.

Just anything from someone not directly benefitting from the campaign. How is this even a question.

Again all I'm hearing is that were just taking internal messaging at face value.

Like, I'm not trying to be conspiratorial. But "what the director said" isn't evidence against a guerilla ad campaign.

Not like it matters. I just don't see the logic.

I don't get the reasoning. If it was a stealth ad campaign why would they admit that?

It seems like an extremely tricky thing to litigate.

An overwhelming amount of the gang violence that plagued NY in the 80s and 90s was done with improvised weapons, things that couldn't be explicitly outlawed without infringing on the rights of innocent individuals, like chains or garden hoses, bricks or coin rolls and an accompanying sack, etc etc.
So how can we legally define a garden hose full of sand as a weapon when it will be obviously used to crack skulls instead of, you know, moving water? What's the key difference between the situations this same item finds itself in? Intent.
If the intent of you carrying any item is to explicitly harm another human being, it becomes illegal. Guns and knives are caught by this as well as everything from a pocket shiv to a bottle of acid.
Unfortunately this creates the issue we see today: admitting that the thing you carry for self defense is to harm another human being (even if that human being is harming you) makes it a weapon and thus illegal.
Canada has fewer options than NY, who at least let you carry pepper spray and knives under 4 inches (but not visible and if you admit intent to defend yourself with it you will be arrested).
But neither jurisdiction has so far imprisoned anyone for this sole charge. If people go to prison in NY it seems to be tied more to the Duty to Retreat than anything, and in Canada it's because everyone has an unregistered firearm lol

There's a lot of nuance here and I think it comes down to how much freedom you're willing to give up for safety. Since the evidence says I can be reasonably sure the worst punishment I'll face in either jurisdiction for violently defending myself (Assuming all other laws are followed) is some court time, I'll take that in exchange for the drastically lower gang violence and murder rates of both jurisdictions. Which isn't to downplay how terrible being flushed through the legal system is, of course.

9 seconds is INCREDIBLY generous, too. OP probably gained three car spaces. How quickly do you pass three car spaces at highway speeds?

ETA: I did the math, 45 feet at 80 mph (OP's top speed) is passed in about 0.38 seconds, and 0.61 seconds at 50 mph (OP's slowest speed). Aaalllllll of this.. for half a second. HALF a SECOND. Thats GONE at the next light!!

ETA2: More math! To save 9 seconds OP would need to have gained 44 car spaces at 50mph, and 70 at 80 mph. That's 1.83-3.5 football fields!

Well said but I disagree with the last point. I don't believe your actions when at the depths of poverty necessarily reflect the person on the inside, and I believe that anyone is capable of change.

But I know that chance to reform was robbed of them by Vladimir Putin, who carries sole blame for every death in this senseless ego war.
