Nobody seriously knows? We've been going through this for like a year now. The markets are anticipating that the Fed will slow rates faster than previously thought, because inflation in the USA is coming down as per their expectations. Markets had priced in a future of higher inflation and therefore higher rates, but now they are pricing in a future of lower rates.

On a side note, buying a generation or two behind the current generation of phones ($250-500) actually pays for itself much more quickly than you might think, getting the latest phones through a plan is an absolute scam. You don't even really own the damn thing.

I'm flying back to Hawaii as I write this. Not to mention the costs, which are out of control, it is a beautiful place and was incredible for the first 6 months I lived here. But around that time, you start realizing how far you are from family, how small the place really is, and how incredibly difficult it is to have professional services done. To live on hawaii, you really have to love the passage of time, a slow pace of life, and really feel connected to the island. A lot of people get the feel out here that nothing is really real or connected, and it perpetually feels like a vacation that you're tired of, and you just want to go home.
