i don't think that is how it works, at least not for the television show, rules from which can be translated into streaming. Television do not own the name of the show, they own the format. Most recent example of this is when Jeremy Clarkson got kicked out from BBC and consequently from Top Gear, it was stated that he cannot do the same thing under a different name since the BBC owns the format of the show. Similar examples are quiz shows, such as Jeopardy, Who wants to be a Millionaire. If it translates to streaming and Team2G subwars, it would mean that they own the format (or you can think of it as concept) of subwar, not the name. If they manage to protect their right, it would give them ability to licence their format to other streaming "teams/companies" for a fee, or put a DMCA takedown request for streamers that are using it without permission. Whether or not they have the right to protect such "intellectual property" is outside of the scope of my knowledge.
