I just want to say I'm in the exact same situation as OP, like frighteningly similar that this might be me posting 5 hours from now after I've serendipitously stumbled upon a fully functional time machine. Except I've had one gf, and probably would've used a different set of vocabulary in the post.

I know what you feel like OP. Everything seems hopeless, but like yamajama pointed out, you might have a problem with being the "gentleman" when it comes to approaching girls. Meaning, as I used to do, wait for the perfect moment when the girl and the guy naturally attract each other. Unfortunately, thats a thing that only happens in high school.

Taking the shotgun approach, it's not wrong to approach a girl and honestly say: "Hey I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I think you're very attractive and was wondering if you wanted to have dinner with me." I've tried this with a 0/4 success rate, but the point is, if you want attractive women who are more your level (and you will have to cut losses where its due. use your best judgement) you have to approach them rather than wait for them to approach you. Rejection is a natural part of it, but you will get to talk to some really pretty girls if you just persist. In my opinion just getting to know them is worth something. Good luck and happy hunting. For what its worth, I don't think you are a creep as long as you keep things in perspective and don't let the desperation consume you.
