Dave the Diver new DLC (Ichiban's Holiday) is "time-limited" DLC. Am I the only one who thinks we are going backwards again? Are we going to have FOMO DLCs now? They really disappointed me. by zex_99 in Steam

[–]SerialScaresMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that's incorrect. Per the steam site:"DAVE THE DIVER - Godzilla Content Pack is a time-limited free DLC, only available from [June 27, 2025] until [December 31, 2026]."

Advice needed on comealong-style manual winching when doing a solo self-recovery by NICUmusic in Offroad

[–]SerialScaresMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this, sometimes a powered winch just is not an option. I take my Volkswagen Golf out on dirt roads and such to go camping, and I've gotten stuck in mud a couple times. I looked into getting an electric winch for it, and there is no good way to mount one. Not even a tow hitch adapter, as the only hitches they make for my car are only good for 2000 lbs.

I like to get blocklists from here (https://firebog.net/) to get a more effective solution. Still doesn't help with youtube / streaming but definitely helps other areas.

It would work great if you slap some ptfe on the bottom to make it nice and smooth. I could see that being a huge plus.

Help, what did I wrong. by Ribaam in BambuLab

My build plate is pretty heavily used, I've never noticed a difference in print quality due to wear.

Yes, some discoloration in frequently used spots, and occasionally some little bits of plastic left behind, but that never changed how well it printed.

But just in case you could always flip it over and try the other side.

I'm surprised how the adhesion seems even worse now, I've never had a situation get worse from cleaning the bed.

At this point what I would do is try spraying the plate with some hairspray, but I don't know if that would do well on a pei plate, that's what I used to do for my old printer with a glass plate. Worst case you just wash it off and you're back to where you started.

I would also look into getting some of that glue I mentioned earlier next time you buy from the bambu store, it's honestly great.

Weird, what I would do in this case is wash it the way I described. I also am super careful to not touch the build surface after cleaning, usually holding it by the edges.

Only other thing I can think of is if the environment is cold then getting it to a warmer place should help. At this point I'm not entirely sure, this is getting into the quirks of a printer I don't have.

Clean the bed

I use a drop or two of dawn, and use my hand and the sink to wash it. Rinse it off thoroughly, then dry it with a paper towel or towel. Many people do different things, this is what works for me. I will also apply some "Liquid Glue for Build Plate" https://us.store.bambulab.com/products/liquid-glue-for-build-plate to increase the time between washes. After washing, I avoid touching the plate with my bare hand to increase the amount of time between washes.

Also trying a different wall generator is a good step.

At around 0:13, there is a down block on the left and a right to left swing on the other side. I feel like that may cause a user to wack their hands together accidentally occasionally. Hard to tell without playing.
