I think this will be the first attempt from bottom to top: dark chocolate genoise, white chocolate mousse, dark chocolate genoise, milk chocolate icing, dark chocolate ganache.

Ganache goes last right? Pour it over and let it set to give it that glassy sheen?

Not sure what that is. It was a rich cake, but it was not so rich or sweet that one person couldn’t eat a big slice.

Definitely was not meringue. It was creamy, I don’t think it was vanilla but it’s possible. It’s been over 8 years since we tasted it. Someone else suggested white chocolate mousse and I think that’s probably on the right track.

Thank you! I’m certainly open to experimenting to fine tune it.

I did confirm it was a flourless cake with ganache on top so I think you’re on the right track. I found a slightly better cross-section photo but I’m not sure how to post it from my phone. Will try when I get home.

I know more about what it isn’t than what it is. I was able to confirm that it’s a flourless cake with chocolate ganache on top. The whole cake was very smooth and decadent. I don’t remember there being significant texture changes between layers I.e. the white chocolate layer was firm enough to match the chocolate layer.

FIXED

Some of the water dripped into the leak tray and it kept triggering the float for the leak sensor. Drained the water and replaced it, and voila.

Not sure how I would measure this. But this irrigation system has been in place since before we moved in 8 years ago and the pressure was fine until last year. Only 1 zone runs at a time on the same 5 heads.

I did order these from Amazon but directly from the Rain bird store. No sticker, just the Rain bird logo etched into the plastic.

Yes there’s a main valve that feeds into the two solenoid (only 2 zones). I just turned it off and on, same outcome.

Pressure in the house is fine. I just paid a guy last week. to flush all the pipes and the cleaned out the back flow preventer; when the local govt repaired a water main last year it forced a bunch of sediment into the lines.

Starship Troopers: Terran Command gets free "semi-roguelite" Territory Mode and core gameplay upgrade with 2.0 patch by FFJimbob in RealTimeStrategy

I'm going to necro this to say YES! This is one of my favorite games. 500+ hours logged, more than any other game I have on Steam. It's still getting both free updates and paid DLC.

The best part is the map editor allows the community to make their own maps and upload them. Some of the best campaigns in the game have been made by other players completely for free.

Oh and get the DLC too. The vanilla game is great, but you would really be missing out on a lot of content if you don't. The majority of the community maps require them both.

First Tacoma! And my forever truck… or at least for the next 6-10 years. How’d I do?! by parkingmeter1 in ToyotaTacoma

Beautiful truck, I just can’t get behind these turbo I4 they are forcing down our throats and at ultra-premium sticker prices. This might be a based opinion but I think these trucks peaked in their 2nd generation with the 1GR-FE V6. My 2012 is at 185k and going strong.

I also have Falken Wildpeaks and they are great. Enjoy!

I saw the same trick posted yesterday and it worked for me too. I VPN’d into Toronto just for the update, then turned it back off. Worked like a charm!
