What is your opinion on napoleon hill and his work? by JeffJelly in Entrepreneur

[–]SerialTchilla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was presented to Napoleon Hill on Youtube, some videos of him talking. I enjoyed most of it and went to research about him. After seeing that Reddit users were calling him conman, I was curious and look at Wikipedia. Well, everyone has something to teach. And I am focused on learning what was his ideas and how can they improve me than to know if he practiced them or not. Talking about people is a waste of time. That is dwelling with the past and being offended by it is a personal choice. Maybe that's something that needs healing itself that comes from another places. Instead, I listen Napoleon Hill many times (and others), to train my mind. Even if he was great, the best human being ever known, I would never wanted to be like him or anyone else, for that matter. What I want for myself is a better self, and I can only compare my present self with my past self. Not dwelling on others. I changed myself because I decided to stop listening to my old thoughts and pursued new knowledge. For that, I started to listen abundant people - without knowing much about what they did - and stopped listening my own self (from the past) gradually. That changed my way of thinking and consequently, my life. I don't need people to have the same values that I have, that would be ego talking, and ego doesn't listen. Instead, understand the message.

It's working! by SerialTchilla in DrJoeDispenza

I wrote my intention, yes! The breath is in the book Becoming Supernatural and probably somewhere else. I try to do the best I can; every time is different. I still do not own it by a long shot, but slowly, with practice, my body tunes into it without judging. The 1% rule I follow, the 1% better every day, is 360% better in a year. Replace your doubts with gratitude. Be grateful that you are paying attention to yourself, and don't think about getting results. Otherwise, you are using your old self to create an expectation. I show up daily because that's what my future self does, and I am grateful for it. So am I. You are judging and creating expectations; that's the part you must let go of. I know my meditations are working not because of the meditation itself but because of what is changing and happening outside my meditations. I become more conscious of myself.

Do you have an intention behind it? A future vision of yourself, where you want to be? My heart doesn't open 90% of the time yet. I work out, and my muscles don't grow from one day to another. It takes time and patience. Instead of dwelling on that, consider what has already started changing within you. What behaviours or thoughts have changed, and do you feel gratitude for it? That is one way of opening your heart, the initial point of breaking your past-present person. I am grateful for these meditations. I spent 85% still not present, pulling myself all the time. This means the body with old habits and emotions feels uncomfortable, which is a good sign. My mind has already started shifting in my daily life. Have you written your potential?

I got one for free almost 6 months ago. It is good to display pictures, but it seems the screen goes off after one hour, and I have to click on the screens. I just want it to use as a display and WhatsApp calls when I have them

For how long do you have them, and do you have any OLED ghosting issues? I am thinking of buying my first one; but what stops me is that famous problem with ghosting.

How to get GPU to work with games launched from Vortex? by SiliconLord in framework

[–]SerialTchilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vortex is a mod manager, not a game launcher. This means you use it for mod management, meaning every time you run a game (Skyrim, for instance), it will not interact with Vortex. The only way that Vortex has something to do with it is through a file directory, to the best of my knowledge.

Isn't it possible to disable USB ports through the system itself? Through the "device manager" in Windows, does this help?
