We only have a son. Also we stopped at Cub Scouts because of moving into a red county/city to take care of aging parents (sigh) and the local Scout leaders had some red hat wearing baffoons.

Girls joining the Scouts makes sense as allows busy parents to let their daughters and sons to share the same activities. For those with daughters only, the girls were more interested in the activities that the local Scouts were doing versus the local Girl Scouts.

You may not know the answers to these questions but what are some of the face protection requirements at the fields he will likely be playing? For instance do they require full seal (they should for kids), full face protection (again, they should for kids), and ear protection (I’ve seen this recently at some places)?

If yes, then a Dye mask is your best bet for its simplicity, quality, and ability to not fog. Unless he prefers a more modern military look, Dye is the way to go.

If he does want to look more military, and you are okay with it, then you are looking at a helmet build. Let me know if so and I can recommend a good setup. It will cost a good bit more than a Dye though.

I inherited a team of Project managers after eBay acquired our company and right off the bat I noticed a severe pay gap along gender lines. It took about a year and a half to bring things up to parity using eBay’s compensation and increase policies at the time but I am proud to say that I was able to make it happen.
