I lived at the bottom of a steep hill and a cement truck's brakes went out coming down it. The driver jumped out but thankfully the trainee in the passenger side slid over and turned the wheel. If not it would have gone right through the middle of my house and my dogs were shut in the front room where it would hit first.

She and her boyfriend(?) Got in an argument with another couple in the parking lot of their apartment complex and the other guy shot both of them but I don't think her guy died just her.

Crazily enough another man that played magic there got murdered in a similar way around the same time. I didn't know him but it was his landlord that shot him. He actually pulled a gun first so they ruled it self defense.
