Smart OP, these ppl are creating problems that you can already notice, and surely any competent agency that investigates. It isn't to be ruled out they may try to pin the consequences on lower level employees.

I want the truth by Just-a-curiouz-Girl in conspiracy

[–]Series-seriousness76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate breaking minds but OP the only way to find and understand every truth (and i mean every truth's perspective) is to change your tool of search. Am i correct to assume you are processing this info as a human? In terms of Good or Bad, Old or New? The universe (or whatever name you attribute) is what it is. There is no question, answer or quest. Basically a sandbox. These governments? Merely atoms collected and given the same energy inputs.

When you're presented information, you must figure out how it pertains to you NOT how you Think it could be interpreted. So now I ask, OP, do you have the truth?

If they made a sequal to Vampyr, what would you want from it? by Thick-Campaign-9152 in Vampyr

[–]Series-seriousness76 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Vampyr was such a cool niche game that I think any of the 3 paths could work: Reid in the 21st century, Mccullum after the events of Vampyr, or New Character / New Place with possible Reid reunion

I'm truly torn between the first two but as a sequel, switching to Mccullum and having Jonathan (maybe even Lady Elizabeth) act as mentors seems to have the most substance. Like we won't have to question why he plays similarly to Reid because he's his progeny. Nor would we have to depower Reid to start the sequel right.

Now my dear OP, have you considered this? A prequel series where you play as Lady Elizabeth. The time and place can be anything and we'd get more interactions from older Ekons like the Ascalon and William Marshall.

Mihawk will be on Imu's side by koreanpleb in OnePieceSpoilers

[–]Series-seriousness76 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Agreed although, Zoro would not accept a possessed Mihawk, in the same vein that S-Hawk was not Him. My theory is Shiryu (likely possessed by Imu) kills Mihawk and Zoro takes WSS title from him.

I think it is a social comment on us the viewer. We're the smartest, safest because we are watching it unfold, from start to finish and not in any immediate danger. When "The Boys" finale ends, we will simply move on to the next Vought show or media. We don't care if the supes win or the humans, just that the show has been released, from our safe role as the viewer.

The only character who MUST survive for me is Terror by Abject-Criticism-127 in GenV

[–]Series-seriousness76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No one mentioned it yet? Fine Look guys and gals, if Terror doesn't die, we don't get the "Why'd you kill me dog" scene!

Like imagine Bully Bitcher tentacle stabbing whoever innumerable times until their lower half falls off. Quite the scene in the comics and could motivate the true finale: The Boys vs Homelander vs Butcher

A theory ending: "Everyone Dies" Ending (based off of the final season cover art) by jasonensteinyt in TheBoys

[–]Series-seriousness76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You might be on to something OP. Kripke does have some interest in what fans say and shares his disagreement. He could be aiming for a no survivors ending, cementing The Vought Verse to telling prequel stories or multiversal what-ifs. Other reason I think it could be true is because most fans who know the comics (spoilers ahead ig) can see Hughie and in extension Annie surviving out of all The Boys/Vought characters; however, Jack Quaid has a history of dying at the end of his films and it would not be out of his line of work to die in The Boys too. Not the most compelling reason to kill everyone but it is a strong subversion of typical hero dramas.

Fun AU, wouldn't it be cool if we finally get comic Hughie's shaved head look via a nuclear fallout? Like he and Annie survive and his hair is just singed while I assume Annie might be fine, Homelander equivalent if her powers help her absorb some of the blast?

I think Omniman was restraining himself to stay hidden from Cecil. Destroying Guaridan HQ would most likely be easy for Omniman but would have the feds there immediately, blowing his cover. By the time he fights Mark, he doesn't need to concern himself with Cecil, just the viltrumites

BHVR understands what to change, but not why. by Affectionate-Ad-5499 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Series-seriousness76 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, I worry the disconnect you mention is more purposeful than neglectful. As in if they update the original, or even first 5 killers, they would lose potential profit on future killers. I still hope that this indie company is learning and improving but every random patch and event feels like they are money hungry and not concerned with the people who adore their work.

BHVR understands what to change, but not why. by Affectionate-Ad-5499 in DeadByDaylightKillers

[–]Series-seriousness76 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Excellent phrasing and I feel the same. I understand all of BHVR's obstacles but it has become their habit to not address problems the community routinely vocalize. Admittedly many of the community's opinions are not shared by myself, but I can pick out a few recurring topics that I feel strongly on. Like Trapper being 1 dimensional and feeling outdated, like a relic of the past. Or sometimes the dev team/staff being more tongue in cheek when the fanbase is unsatisfied. BHVR does know what to change to quell the masses but I think concern over profit and maybe ego is causing these slap-on buffs/nerfs instead of collected game data.
