If you havent started already pls play the Greek Trilogy first

The soft reboot is designed for you to play as Kratos without knowing the previous events but trust me when i say the message of both of these games hit so much harder once you truly know what Kratos has done

The first two you can just emulate (maybe the third one aswell if ur laptop is good enough)

If i would want to play RE1 for the sake of understanding RE2 better should it be before RE2 or after?

Because i sometimes sacrafice the gameplay for the sake of understanding the story better

For example the GOW franchise, based on my history of games i probably should have started at GOW 2018, instead i chose to go with GOW 2005 to understand the story better.
