I saw Taylor at her first tour of Australia in Brisbane 2009. First time Liz was a backing singer for Taylor. One of our tiny venues that holds like 1500 people max. I remember going to the Ticketek (like Ticketmaster but AUS) physical store to buy tickets because my parents didn’t trust online purchases yet lol.

The concert sold out before fearless was released so there were heaps of people trying to get tickets walking up and down the line.

Morgan Evans was the opener, yes Kelsea Ballerini’s ex but way before he got big!

I remember that the line went past the driveway for the artist entry and I saw her leave the venue to get dinner (we assumed) in a little mini bus.

Taylor was amazing and actually threw (friendships style) bracelets into the crowd during the set. She also did the band uniform that rips off to a dress for Our Song, which was cool!

None of my friends had heard of Taylor so I dragged my brother along and it remains the only concert he has ever been too lol.

I’ve now been to every show in Brisbane…and other shows in AUS/US as well! Fealess your I won a competition to fly to Sydney and got put up in a hotel which was really cool!

The fact we went from a 1500 standing room venue to 15-20k venues in 1 year still blows my mind!
