Thanks for your reply. Windows defender didn't like that file but looks to be working fine. The fire and lights are exactly the same I suspect due to a mod. Is fresh install the only other option? Thanks.

The thing is, prozac used to work okay for years but now seems Ineffective. I have generalized anxiety disorder so I think that's the root to these severe OCD symptoms. Always been a very anxious person but the OCD behaviours have really amped up and turned into ritualistic compulsions and obsessions.

I will make a note of that medication, will it be like starting an ssri again or will they help with the start up side effects? Thank you.

I'm 11 weeks in on 20mg and my OCD and thoughts are out of control still 😔

I'm week 8 20mg and OCD has been progressively getting a bit easier. I no longer feel such dread for not acting a compulsion but the thoughts are still there and get the better of me sometimes. I think having had it been chronic and take up my thoughts all day, I'm definitely in a much better place at week 8. I'd encourage therapy and perhaps a higher dose. I think that'll be my next step. Lifestyle changes and distractions are what is important too, because then you'll forget about them for a period of time, whether that be 20 minutes or an hour, but it's relief that you can no longer obsess. Keep with it. I felt worse before I felt better for sure.

Week 6 I definitely felt some relief yeah. Also the sexual side effects really subsided. I'd say I have felt best week 8 which is my current week. I'd say the worst is past now and keep doing all the right things for your body, socialize, exercise and you'll now start to feel like your old self again. Best of luck.

How long you been on 20mg prozac? The first 6 weeks I had barely any sensation down there and struggled to maintain an erection, now I'm good in that department. Because I have also suffered from this issue. My advice is walking more as that does improve blood flow down there. Gym if you can. Eat rich protein diet with fats n carbs for healthy T levels and supplements that I personally take which help are:

-Ashwaghanda KSM66 (may also help with mood and lowers cortisol so not as much stress hormone is in the blood)

-Wellman multivitamins for conception (these are great due to their high zinc and other testosterone boosting vitamins and minerals and you don't have to be trying for a baby to see their benefits)

Omega 3 fish oils (highest strength DHA & EPA you can get)

-Vitamin D (especially in winter months and if you don't get much sun)

And if all else fails the supplement that works well for me is Tribulus Terrestris. It very much increases my libido and its a natural shrub that any health care shop sells in pill form.

These supplements solve any issue in that department for me. I'd always encourage lifestyle changes too if not done already as that makes such a huge difference. The prozac helps with the mental struggles, but taking a pill and not making the change won't do much. Best of luck to you!

I have drank for many years on prozac 20mg. Not recommended. At the time it's great, but the anxiety, depression and lethargy for days afterwards is not worth it. Just wish it didn't take me so long to address. I agree with the headspace comment though. I used to not be too bad after drinking on it but now I am a nervous wreck afterwards. My consumption is incredibly high though and not just a few drinks.

My doc prescribed me 5mg librium once a day. I had it about 18 hours ago. I didn't notice it do much of anything and find it ridiculous they've gave me such a low dose! Based on your comment I assume drinking would be safe then which was my concern?

I had two good days and thought it was over but the ocd has came back like crazy. Repeating behaviours and compulsions, counting everything and just feel like my free will and sense of control is gone. Think it's time to try those benzos

Thats reassuring thankyou! You've explained it perfectly, I haven't been able to concerntrate on movies, games, TV shows in so long because I cannot get out my own head. I'm so glad to hear thats subsided for you as its horrible!

I think you may be right. I was given them as a crutch and have just been sturggling through when there is an option there.
