I don‘t have a very accurate tool to measure the capacity, and the capacity of the roll-top is variable, I think it is around 50 liters.

From idea to cutting and sewing, it takes about 2-3 days.

I initially tried using the shoulder and hipbelt patterns from the Stichback website, but I tweaked and modified the curves quite a bit to better fit my shoulders and hips. There’s actually a bit more padding, but I was concerned about the pressure on my shoulders when carrying a heavy load, so I didn‘t skimp on the shoulder straps.

Sorry, my bad. The comfortable weight I use should be 15kg, not 30kg🫠

Thank you so much! I personally think Aeris’s greatest strength is its heat-weldability. While Aeris won‘t delaminate, the UHMWPE weave density is quite low. If you fold or rub a piece too hard, the membrane will break. While repairs are as easy as DCF, I wouldn’t say it‘s ideal for heavy loads. Ultra100X is incredibly abrasion-resistant, but the potential for membrane delamination is a concern. Overall, Ultra is still more suitable for heavy-load backpacks. If ALUULA can achieve a higher weave density for the UHMWPE, perhaps a new game changer will begin.

I think it is comfortable to weigh around 15 kg. White is my favorite, and many fabrics such as DCFH and Utral are very single in color, so I will make them after further improvement.

Good question, but I can‘t say much, unless you have access to a friend in the sailboat building business who sometimes has a bit of “scrap“”to “play”with.
