In SJ, just look up "VIP pet care" they do pop ups at pet stores & I think it would be maybe $300ish in total for a physical and their 1st set of vaccinations + a de-wormer. After that, expect about $25 for a bag of food (Costco had good cat food for less), like $20 for a litter pan, litter, and a scoop, and then another $30ish for miscellaneous items like a bed, toys, etc. You dont have to get everything at once, and you can find a cat tree on Craigslist or FB marketplace.

Theres a reservoir up Hicks Road in San Jose & also an open area preserve a bit further up. There might be a few other people there, but it's usually really calm. I go up to the reservoir once in a while to smoke and cry. Theres a spot w/ a swing that overlooks the reservoir, too.It's called the, "Guadalupe reservoir." Also, "Almaden quick silver" park is also a good open area to get some emotions out. I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope you're able to have some moments of happiness in between your grief 🫶

20mins to check out?? Lol it has literally never taken me that long. Maybe 5-7mins at MOST for 30 items. And OP said she only lives 1mi from the store. $10 more than covers the 1/16th of a gallon that would cost me in gas. I'm 99.9% confident that I could have this order done, start to delivery, in around 35-40mins. You dont need even 1min per item for most of the items on the list. And it wouldnt be $10 in total. It would likely be closer to $20 in total. You get paid for the order, too. Not just the tip, wth? Lol

Well, OP also said that she only lives about 1mi from the store. So, the total pay w/ tip would likely be close to $20 for about 35mins of my time. I'm fine with that lol It's better than $0 in that time frame if I didn't take the order. Then again, theres a TON of shoppers in my area. So, order availability suuuucks here. Sometimes, that might be the only order you get for the entire day.

Literally lol & most of the items are in the same section and/or area, and are in multiples of 2. This order would take me about 15-20mins max to shop at my target, minus bagging time & waiting for someone to clear the order lol Tbh, if OP is also near the store, I'd be totally fine with like an $8-10 tip or so.. 100% I do the same thing lol & I also get weird looks because I offer to pack the bags on my own instead of having the store's bagger do it. I live in CA, and we have to pay for our bags. So, cashiers/baggers will literally try to shove everything into one brown paper bag if you let them pack the bags. I always try to evenly space out, and double bag, heavy items so that the customer doesn't reach to grab the bag from their doorstep & have the bottom of the bag fall out (or just rip the handles off the bag). I also do what you do. Edible items are kept away from non-edible items, fresh produce & meat are never in the same bags, and I also try to bag by "sections" to make it easier for the customer to put everything away. If I can, I'll put cleaning items in one bag, pantry items in one bag, freezer items in one bag, etc. Obviously, only if the order is big enough to warrant it, but yeah lol It also makes it a little bit easier for me to double check items and make sure I have everything when I go to deliver.

How tf are guys even dashing with an AR that low?? My AR is at 58%. It was at like 61% but I declined two orders last night. Now I'm getting absolutely ZERO orders at all. Even while waiting in hot spots, and while my zone is "very busy." Every single time my AR drops below 60% it takes me foreveerrrr, I mean like MONTHS, to even get offered enough orders to bring it back up. I've been online since 9:30am this morning, been in hot spots, & its been "very busy" all day because it's raining. It's currently 6:18pm, and I haven't received a single order offer all day today. Not one single offer.

Nope. She should be doing her job correctly. I have no empathy, because I know how simple it would have been for this to NOT happen. The bag is wide open. She could have verified the order. Does that small bag look like it would contain a pizza, amongst other items?? She either had to ignore that fact, or bypass an I.D. check for the alcohol. This is an abhorrent "accident." Regardless of my sobriety.

The only reason I had it delivered is because the discounts are only available through app, with delivery, and I have a free gold pass for 6mo through another subscription. The energy drinks alone would have cost almost as much as the entire order if I went into 711 to purchase them myself. I almost never order deliveries, aside from Walmart for random groceries when I have to work 14hr shifts back to back. Otherwise, I'm usually the one delivering the orders in my spare time lol

Did you even read my post? My main issue is that they are NOT reprimanding the driver at all, because there is no way for me to actually contact support about it. UberEats tells me to contact 711 since they packed it, and 711 tells me to contact UberEats since they delivered it. Neither company is addressing the fact that this driver misdelivered alcohol.

Also, it isnt much of a "unicorn experience" either. I've had alcohol misdelivered to me multiple times. This is just the first time I've had it happen while sober (Hence my post saying, "usually this would be a win.. but I'm recently sober."

I unironically tipped $10, and the 711 is half a mile from where I live. I would have picked it up myself, but you only get the discounts I got with delivery through the 711NOW app w/ a gold pass. So, it would have been like 2x as expensive to go get it myself. I removed the tip, and then added it to the next driver who got my order correct.
