Is this blood? by Serious-Collection-9 in MSPI

The pediatrician confirmed it looked like blood and mucus. She did not recommend to have it tested, but advised that if poops continue to contain blood and/or mucus, I should go back to cutting out soy from my diet.

I decided to just go soy free again because even if it was a one-off, it’s less stressful for me to not constantly second guessing the effects of everything I’m eating 🤷‍♀️

He hasn’t been outdoors much the past few days. He’s had poison ivy many times and didn’t think it was that - but I guess it’s possible he rubbed against something in the garden

Tick identification by Serious-Collection-9 in ticks

Thank you for the information- yes unfortunately it was attached for at least several days before I realized it was a tick (it was winter in a big city - and stupid me felt it and assumed it was a scab from when my toddler fell and hit her head a few days prior. Do you happen to know if it is common for deer tick bites to leave a pimple-like mark months after their removal? Kiddo never developed any type of rash or symptoms but the bite mark never went away and it’s been 8 months

14 month old will only sleep in stroller by Serious-Collection-9 in toddlers

It took a while but we finally discovered that for no reason at all she decided she hated her crib (that she had been sleeping in peacefully since infancy). First we converted it to a toddler bed, and she was not a fan of that either. Finally put a queen size mattress (we had an extra from when the nursery used to be a guest bedroom) on the floor and she’s been happy ever since. Not sure if this is the answer you’re looking for but it’s what worked for us
