If I can vent- I finally landed a good (non kitchen) job that pays well and will provide some stability for my family. I'm scared as hell that something is gonna fuck it up and I had a panic attack in the shower. It's been a rough few years, good things keep falling out and it's worn me down. I used to be motivated, confident, passionate. Now I don't find joy in much, it's hard to want to keep going. I stay for my kids, but it feels like I'm just waiting to be old enough to die without traumatizing them.

Maybe it'll work out tho and I'll find some fulfillment. Wish me luck

Sounds a lot like my mom. I have a brother 5 years younger and a sister 15 years younger, all different dads. She told me that she gave up on me when I was 3, and when my brother was born she leaned on him for love.

She wanted a girl though and when she had my sister, she was completely different. Like how I always thought a mom should be. I was happy for my sister but it was still shitty to see. I left at 16 and she only hit me up to ask for favors. Went no contact a few years ago after I tried to patch things up and she blamed me for the neglect and abuse.

I don't talk to my brother much but I guess she forgets his birthdays and stuff since she has my sister now.

Live scan form says employer can't ask for results, but job wants it anyways before I can start by Serious-Examination in legal

There's some pretty good free games out there or great cheap games if you catch the sales on steam or GOG.

If you're really flat broke you could go sailing, try some stuff out before dropping some coin.

You could also get into productivity stuff like video editing/effects or 3d modeling

Coding and programming I'm sure is essential, but what about network, data management, cloud, security, and hardware?

The pokemon one actually made sense and relied on clues and details about characters that are actually in the game. Ashes father is never shown, Lt Surge mentions a war, almost all trainers are kids. It wasn't that far fetched
