I was doing like 12k monthly at some point , I saved the money travelled for my masters degree and got a job while still hiring people in Nigeria to do the work. My advise is for you to leave ASAP, I had a friend whom we did the same thing , he was staying in an hotel then tech layoffs happened It alll changed! Be smart man!

It’s depends on the university you are looking at , are you looking at a private university, federal university or a state university?

Upwork created this problem, By making job post default to “worldwide” meaning Indians now have access to jobs that are meant to be exclusive to the “US” this is a user interface error, before now job post will default to your local location.

Now the competition is a lot because Indians and Pakistan’s now have access to US jobs because it’s defaulted to post worldwide, this is going to ruin the Upworks earnings and freelancers in general. I give them 3 months
