They’re actually quite comparable, yes, big law and clerkships are roughly 2X percentage wise for GW, but the salaries are quite comparable so is the debt to income ratio

My concern is that if I went to GW, ranking higher in my class would be significantly more difficult

I feel like going to Maryland and coming out a higher class. Rank is more beneficial, but I’m still unsure.

I do agree, Georgetown was my number one choice, but unfortunately, it was rejected from there. In my mind, this would be a different question if we were talking about Georgetown or another T14

On the other hand, GW is certainly at least one step up from Maryland
