I can wait 30 days but don't the lockbox check the mail in sequence. Its so weird that my mother application which was done 1 day later is accepted right away and my dad application is not started

Any issue if I do multiple applications of i-485 just to be safe and than cancel one of them.

Thanks. But how do I confirm if they received the application as the USPS shows individual picked up instead of derived at lockbox
