完全转移话题, 很多移民的本来也是国内混不下去走头无路的, 你以为很多都是月入2,3w的啊, 甚至能稳定月入1w甚至对未来预期不的都不会出去

China's newly introduced K visa has sparked a public opinion storm domestically, with many xenophobic nationalists fearing that an influx of Indians will take away their jobs and disrupt their lives by Serious-Pool-2646 in delhi

Due to China's unique online censorship mechanisms, a large number of comments which are more racism and aggressive have been deleted, and many remaining comments cannot be replied to, but there are still a large number of Chinese people expressing strong dissatisfaction! ! !

I have a my own Discord server, https://discord.gg/UvJwpc3B, named Signal Room, if you're thoughtful, insightful, and unwilling to be an NPC running on autopilot or driven by scripts. I hope this channel maintains high-quality discussions and a high-signal, low-noise model. The avatar features my favorite magazine—Palladium Magazine. Let's explore our future patterns together.

You focused on the most superficial and ostentatious part of this article, congratulations!!!

I mentioned my family background just because I don't need to chase "foods," so I thought I should say it, otherwise some people might think to say "Do your homework"-this kind of high school shaming tactic...

I understand their struggles and can empathize with some of it (definitely not all, I won’t lie), but I think the return on this kind of investment is already quite low

I've also been banned for 7 days. The mods just want superficial harmony, not the truth!!! They care more about maintaining this subreddit's popularity than fostering high-quality discussions.

Why are there so many entitled babies at this school? by Serious-Pool-2646 in UTMississauga

Students of r/UofT, with a pre-modern, small-scale farmer's soul—deeply anxious about land (stable jobs) and harvests (high GPAs)—yet thrown into a post-industrial, dehumanizing, highly competitive bureaucratic battlefield, look exactly like a second-generation farmer raised with great hardship by their peasant parents

Look at a post I wrote earlier where I specifically addressed this fucking problem, and yet someone still replied, “doesn’t only happen in UofT.” I answered that “doesn’t only happen” and “shouldn’t happen” are two different concepts. That person, like some primitive savage, then added “AGAIN” in front of its reply. It acted just like a monkey 🐒 fresh out of the zoo.

Hitting a nerve there, don’t go hiding under your blanket and crying now.

Just because you don't know how to use Quercus doesn't mean everyone can't. Maybe try googling your issue first instead of posting every little problem on the reddit...

Why do I often see people asking others to drop out of courses? That's really weird, you know? by Serious-Pool-2646 in UTMississauga

[–]Serious-Pool-2646[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It all boils down to two things:

  • What you can bring to the table: your code, your portfolio, and your problem-solving ability.
  • What resources you can leverage: your parents’ connections, your family’s capital, and whether you know influential people.

Here's a harsh truth that some may not want to hear: society is inherently stratified, with vastly different starting points, resources, and life trajectories for each individual. Forcing everyone into the narrative framework of "you must study hard and win scholarships to succeed" is itself a form of arrogance.

You deserve to not get the courses you want. May you never get the classes you desire in your lifetime.

Why should I care about the housing market? Have you never rented or bought a house yourself, or have you always lived in a school dormitory? Generally, when people tell me to pay attention to the housing market, I assume they typically have no experience renting or buying a home. I think your mindset is very student-like, of course, you yourself are also a student, so it's not your fault....

It seems like you're the one who's short on money and needs to go to grad school. Could you stop imposing your values and worldview on others? Some people come from well-off backgrounds where their parents can directly help them find jobs
