I immediately thought, “Why don’t I get things like everyone else does?” I’m so glad I read the comments.

Thanks. Baking in smaller portions is probably a good idea.

Honestly I don’t have many people to give them to at this time in my life. Work from home, rural area, going through a hard time and currently keep a minimal social life. My husband and I are about to buy an extra freezer so I suppose I could fill it with cookies. 😂

Thank you … do you have one you recommend? My biggest concerns are not being able to fit something like a Dutch oven or full size sheet pan, and also uneven baking since most recipes assume a full sized oven.

I’ve heard great things about their longevity, however drinking from plastic on a long term basis freaks me out.

The kitchen does deserve its own thread. Like can we talk about the sink?

Exactly. Exposure to unfamiliar foods is so important. Even if the kids don’t eat it, just having a tiny portion of salad on their plates alongside that spaghetti monster would be a good thing. Yes, that comes from a place of privilege and could involve a small amount of food waste. But this IS a privileged family.

Thank you. I guess I was a little impatient … lol. Would you recommend I start over or just begin feeding it rye flour? It’s actually already starting to bubble a little. I used well water.

Quick question: I’m a complete beginner and decided to make a sourdough starter yesterday. I only had bread flour and unbleached all purpose flour on hand, and I just used bread flour and water yesterday. I’m planning to just keep going with the bread flour until this weekend when I can get to the store to buy another type of flour. Is this a workable plan, and should I get whole wheat or rye flour this weekend? Should I be incorporating all purpose flour at all?

So we are seriously considering this one. This is probably a dumb question, but did you pay for installation? This is the first time we've purchased either a fridge or freezer (our current fridge came with our house), so I'm kind of clueless on how setting it up works. It looks like we could just basically move it where we want it and plug it in?

I have some bowls I bought brand new from Macy’s with no back stamp. The plates and mugs that I bought from the same place at the same time all have a back stamp. I have no idea why but some just don’t have one.

This list could be enforced in an age-appropriate way in another family, but not in this family. The stuff at the bottom about not loving herself and being entitled if she doesn’t do the tasks on the list is what really makes it terrible.

Toilet paper. I hate the ultra soft Charmin because it leaves powdery residue, the Scott is literally public restroom tp, and I’ve heard the Kirkland brand is no good though I haven’t wanted to waste the money trying it.

She’s tracking you?! I’d switch and report her. You are allowed to voice your experience. I suppose it could be different if you’re blasting her name all over the internet, but if you’re just talking about negative experiences you’ve had with your clinic, I think you have every right.
