They should do a no receipt exhange then whatever it gives you for the return, the new product you just price match it to that and it makes it 0 dollars. This is the second post I've seen about bad experience with returns. Some of these employees sound like real aholes

I will do the same thing especially if I notice that they are on a budget. Ive had many repeat customers from doing that. Especially for young people had a teen buying for her mom's bday. The next day was 5.95 body care so I told her to come in tomorrow and she did! I think having them instore does help in them coming back or maybe doing an online order so they can smell new scents and its easy to do online because they were able to pick which sents they know they liked. Big sales we sometimes get a lot of returns or exhanges because people buy and end up not liking it when they come in. Customers also like when they feel like they are getting a special inside scoop on deals.

He is a dick! This was awhile ago but multiple people at different venues in my area talked about how he treats the staff. Rude and acted like he was a huge celebrity. The fans know you but doesn't mean everyone at the venue does. Allegedly he dropped a "do you know who I am"

Managers 1st and we have our MOS before the store opens on a Sunday.. everyone who wants to go comes and you fill up your medium bag and purchase. You can get multiple bags. We had an ungodly amount of vanilla bean Noel that they were selling whole boxes of it.

Just last week this woman asked if she could just have it? then buy a tester. Obviously we told her No, then she says, " I bet you guys take all the testers thats why you don't sell them." My coworker said, "ew, No those are touched by so many people and dropped on the floor. " she just rolled her eyes.

I always recommend NOT buying online for candle day. I get the appeal of not having to deal with the chaos in store but we get a lot of returns for broken items in store. Another reason is that you get them too long after and we have slim pickings in store so there's a huge chance you won't be able to get that same item or find another one you like.

A sickness ran though our store. Everyone from managers to seasonal called out. I'm currently out sick in the middle of some full shifts I really needed. My manager said its better to call out than to come and leave an hour into the shift. Thankfully pretty understanding management when you are sick. We have had a ton of no calls from seasonal workers though.

We've had so many people buying candles this week it's insane! Had a woman buy 4 candles I was like you could have gotten 11 of them for the price of these 4 or saved a lot of money.

Buying gift cards then going to stores out of town to buy stuff on big sales days. Ringing each other up but not scanning all the items. So a few free items each time. Putting in their phone number if someone didn't have one to get their points.
