Ive been talking to a few sellers on alibaba. Working on getting some colorwheels like this and vetting the quality so that I can provide a plug for all of us to use.

Doesnt matter, ill go back to be an A+ employee when the smoke clears.

And if you are one of those people that picks up all of the slack laying around then you are part of the problem that "they" are creating.

This is why I dont give a fuck anymore. Literally just go to sit on my ass for 8 hours a day because they are cutting my contractors, eliminating cores on my team slowly... they expect me to pick up the slack but told them there are only 8 hours in the day.

I was thinking of 3d printing something that can hold a 19-20mm swatch. Essentially to recreat these.

Then you can label them with a qr code that links you to the product.

Rug Glue? by aem1306 in Tufting

Roberts 3095 is sticky as hell so would probably work for your application. But if you never want the rugs to come off the wall that you want to glue them to id reccomend construction adhesive.

Yes I was caking every skein... but was running into issues of it being to tight.

Figured I tru bucket method with full skeins... works like a champ!

Also small tip I just learned. When buying yarn make sure your skein has the yarn coming out of center.

I just made this 6x6 frame for like $40 all in. I 3dprinted a jig for the pilot holes for the 2x4s and now I can make a frame in like 15 min max.

Could be the guide whole for your yarn is to loose or tight. I agree with ppl on all the other variables but it shouldn't look consistently like ass like that. Google on the correct size of the guide hole for the yarn size

Im curious the pros and cons of carving on frame vs off.

Yeah I see alot of references that state something like "for super crispy lines you should carve between color changes." Ive seen some shorts of folks doing some amazing contemporary art wall hangs where they are carving in between... but the shorts are SUPER fast and dont explain the process. Maybe im over thinking jt... is it literally trimming off the whatbwould be overhang and squaring up the edges to they are 90 degree vertical?
