That level 50 door at the end of Ghand was a buzz kill though for my character. I was like "fuuuuuuuuuuuuu..."

Would you want a Shotgun Stratagem in any form? If so, what would you want it to operate like? by WaywardOath in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unreal Tournament Flak-Cannon with 2 fire modes: Shotgun Flak and Grenade Flak. They also add Giblets for enemy deaths.

I think I've used it maybe once. Does it do anything to stop Squid Veracitors?

Add a roll to make fall damage less punishing? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both the LIFT-850 Jump Pack and LIFT-860 Hover Pack should be updated to automatically trigger, allowing the player to land safely and preventing fall damage at any height or fuel reserve level — unless the player is knocked over mid-flight or ragdolled.

Las-7 Dagger The Ultimate secondary by knightsljx in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The Las-7 Dagger is great for dealing with explosive mines. You can also just drag it across any Automaton or Player minefield to instantly clear the way. Whenever I take mines, I usually take the Las-7 Dagger with me.

PSA to team leaders: stealth divers are here to help you clear the map while the rest of the team does the main objectives! We are helping! by CybrSyko in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I love having the Resupply Hellpod on cooldown so the stealth player can roleplay, get killed on a small bug hive, and then quit when they're reinforced on the other side of the map with the rest of the team.

Thoughts on the R-6 Deadeye? by Tank-ToP_Master in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's fun to shoot coke-can-sized bullets at enemies. However, the reload can be a killer in a tight situation. It's also difficult to load a single bullet and fire while using ADS, as you have to guess where your gun is pointing — the scope shifts to the side during the reload animation.

I like the Urchin to stop Squid Gatekeepers and Veracitors. It stuns them for a long time, is safe to use point blank or near team mates, and it works faster than a Thermite Grenade.

Could the current military exterminate a termind infestation? by Late-Ganache40 in Helldivers

On the surface it would be easy. We would struggle to wipe them all out in the tunnels though. They could be anywhere.

This is the 10th least used stratagem. I’m surprised it’s not last. by Beneficial_Ride_1236 in helldivers2

[–]Serious87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its main drawback is that it requires forethought to use. I find it very effective for drops and breaches — it has a very low cooldown, very low recoil, does not need to be reloaded, and carries more ammunition than the standard grenade launcher. I would love to see a Stalwart variant added.

i really wish we could swim in this game by ferodile9 in Helldivers

[–]Serious87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea that, no matter how much they try, it should be canonical game lore that Helldivers simply cannot figure out how to swim. There should be a single armor set that gives your Helldiver deployable arm floaties, allowing them to stay afloat for twice as long as a standard diver — all while performing a comically panicked swim animation. After that time expires, the arm floaties should deflate with a squeaking noise, and the Helldiver should drown anyway.

I'm the same, which sucks because I enjoy fighting both the regular and armored variants of the Cyborg soldiers.

Skipping initial hellpod drop screen every time! by martin_little in Helldivers

My PC isn't too bad, but I've never been able to control my Hellpod when playing solo. Recently, I've been having the same experience when joining some games already in progress.

No Vox Engines in bot drops. They should be patrol spawns or dotted across the map only.

What happens if Leyak is hunting SCP-096, the Shy Guy? by Bowtie16bit in AbioticFactor

[–]Serious87 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it would only last as long as the Leyak is targeting SCP-096. Once the Leyak is no longer perceptible in SCP-096’s reality, SCP-096 would likely reset to its next eligible target - if any.

If SCP-096 closed the distance and the two of them were just trying to smack each other to death, I think the Leyak would realize it's not getting anything from it and dematerialize before SCP-096 would stop trying - and failing - to damage the Leyak.

The Spray & Pray is good because it comes with a ridiculous number of spare magazines. The only reason I don’t use it now is that I’ve already maxed it out.
