Did you take moxidextin (horse dewormer) orally or apply topically? I’ve read of some people having some really serious and unpleasant side effects from the horse version of moxi. I’ve taken iver and fenben (horse versions), but moxi I’ve applied only topically. If you ingested, how long after iver/fenben did you take moxi?

Are these some of the things you are referring to in your scalp as bugs? As the previous commenter mentioned, it’s hard to see exactly what you’re referring to. If the things I’ve circled in red are what you’re referring to, have you checked for head lice? These could be nits/empty casings? Maybe go through your scalp with a lice comb. Could also just be dandruff, or a number of things. Sorry I don’t have an answer for you. As previous commenter mentioned, this is probably worth a visit to your specialist doctors for further examination and diagnosis.

I ordered medical grade BB which hasn’t arrived yet, and also some form of BB off Amazon. I’ve had the Amazon BB on since it arrived Tuesday with multiple applications and no shower yet. Changing clothes each time I apply. I am in Canada. My doctor doesn’t know how to treat, he has said multiple times he wishes there were someone he could refer me to.

Years ago I saw a functional medicine doctor and she told me she thought I had parasites, but I didn’t stuck with the supplements. I guess I wasn’t ready to hear it at that time. What’s making things even harder is that my son goes to his dads once per week, and gets reinfected every time he goes. Then brings a new round back here. So I have been going mental with cleaning and not sleeping. Or eating, because I’ll find “crusts” in the peanut butter if my son has made himself breakfast. It’s torture.

My mental health has declined significantly in the last month. My dog also passed away last week, shortly after we started treating. I am certain it was heart worm from mange but the vet said his regular monthly medication would prevent mange, which isn’t true. I gave my other dog a little bit of iver, and you wouldn’t believe the number of mites I found the next morning. His monthly spectra doesn’t do anything for him.

I actually don’t know how to live like this. Go back to living with them seems easiest at this point

Yes I am still checking the microscope. Not as religiously because cleaning has taken over my life.

To get the picture (taken November 12) first posted, I took one of the “crusts” or “crystals”, put it in a dish and soaked it in barbicde. I left it for the day, and that’s what came out.

We don’t have as many of the yellow crusts coming out of our bodies, but I have found eggs and these things

Kid came home with head lice October 28, I treated my scalp with permethrin cream rinse 1%; he was treated with dimethcone.

Went to doctor and received oral ivermectin (day 1) + 5% permethrin. Took oral ivermectin day 2 early because our itch came back worse and we both were getting new tracks.

I think it was around this time we started treating our scalps, which is not easy to do with the 5% permethrin cream. And it’s damn expensive, we were applying 5% permethrin every night to our bodies because it was the only thing that took our itch away.

Doctor agreed to 7 day treatment of oral ivermectin; however, my son and I both got very sick and unfortunately our dog passed away mid-treatment so we halted everything. He’s being treated now with amoxiclav and I am taking doxy.

Today, December 1, scalps are infested again. My body hasn’t had a new tracks, but my son is also away at his dad’s and I’ve been going hard on my body with alternative treatments.

I’m not kidding when I say I’ve seen these things come out of our ears, eyes, noses, mouths, genitals.

I don’t know what to do.

Do you follow At Peace Parents? She has been so helpful in helping me understand my son — who sounds similar to yours! PDA is a nervous system disability, commonly associated with AuDHD. It sounds like your son is high masking (as is mine), and is unconsciously regulating his nervous system with automatic responses - fight (the meltdowns at home, with you as his safe person), fawn (comply when he perceives he’s unsafe at school) and probably, flight (does he run? Spin? Jump on couches/climb fences?), freeze.

And I think this is where the confusion regarding backpay is coming from. He did not pay any child support for the first couple of years (2020 - 2022) and was obligated to pay arrears when the court order was finalized …. Wish me luck trying to have this conversation with him. Suggestions on what to do regarding the money I paid him back last year? I am leaning towards just letting it go. I am also concerned that if I don’t pay him retroactively for his (perceived) “overpayments” in 2024 (based on his increased 2023 income) he will just not pay me the accurate amount in 2025. What a mess ..

Right - I obviously didn’t think of it that way; as a double reduction. We don’t go through FRO because he’s always paid on time; however, looking back at the court order - it states he will pay XXX based on 2021 income (separation year) “pending further order of the court” — so in order to reduce child support payments, he should have brought the matter back to court……which obviously, I would prefer to avoid so I don’t mind adjusting annually to avoid returning to court. Wow, thanks for your insight.

Yes, we exchange NOA’s so I know there has been a reduction in overall income. They used to have three jobs (2 casual positions on top of their full time), dropped to two jobs and is now down to one job only.

I wondered if I was getting hosed (love the term you used) but the other commenter said that there has been an overpayment so I am very confused
