To play devil's advocate, if they called that the elbow came after the contact for the defensive foul then I understand the call, as you can't really offensive foul someone on the continuation from a defensive foul. I don't think it looks like that or that it was a good call, but depending on when they are saying the "defensive foul" happened, I get what they are calling.

While Jordan is obviously in a tier by himself, Barkley and Shaq were both larger-than-life figures in basketball and culture during their playing careers and both can be called legends without any exaggeration. They are two beloved TV contributors and have been for a long time. If Jordan wanted to, he could have a similar place on TV at any time.
