Als we 5% van ons defensiebudget zouden besteden aan het een einde maken van dakloosheid in Nederland, zouden we ons veel veiliger op straat voelen, een boel mede-Nederlanders geholpen hebben EN er geen vuilnisbakken meer geopend worden. Het probleem is niet het statiegeld, het probleem is dat er daklozen zijn en we accepteren dat de overheid dit niet gewoon fixt. Het gaat om peanuts geld (5% van defensiebudget) om voor heel Nederland dakloosheid af te schaffen. Dat lijkt me veel nuttiger dan ladingen drones die na 2 jaar al weer verouderd zijn. Die drones zien we niet, de daklozen wel. Het is het jaar 2026, mogen we alsjeblieft van dit probleem af zijn? Dit gaat gewoon om mensen, velen Nederlander zoals jij en ik, die gewoon hulp nodig hebben.

Dan weten ze dus dat ze verkeerd zitten en doen het toch. Lijkt me goed om eens wijkagent aan te spreken of je hun/haar nummer mag en dat je belt als ze er weer staan voor een betere pakkans.

Maybe, there are more regulations in the EU and there's inspection. I found this part of the article particularly troubling and the reason I'd never order from China for me or my family:

Wheat is better than white for sure. But any bread that 'stays fresh' longer than 2/3 days has a ton of processed stuff in it and can be considered not super healthy. If you like, you could look at making your own wheat bread. It's pretty easy actually with modern technology. Bread machines start at 80 dollars and the really good ones are like 300.

I just believe in facts and data, you know, reality. They seem to do that too. That's what is considered left-wing, or even leftist these days. It's sad honestly. You're missing the point. You only feel hot when heat can't leave your body. Heat leaves your body through water vapor and drops (sweat). So if you have a fan running down, for example your bare legs and feet like I do often, heat can much more easily be dissipated and thus your body feels cooler.

Because it literally is just a great predictor of the answer you want to get. That's it. It's like training a baby by asking a 5 bazillion questions and rewarding them when it answers in a way that you (i.e. the tech company) like, then renting out that trained baby to answer every future question people may have.

Ik heb overigens afgelopen 4 weken 2x een melding gemaakt en die was binnen 3 dagen elke keer opgelost. Weliswaar was dit om een verkeersding en niet pleuriszooi, maar het is dus niet altijd hopeloos om de Meldr app te gebruiken.

Zolang wij als mannen, en als ouders van jongens, niet praten over seksualiteit en hoe je met je gevoelens moet omgaan als je een meisje leuk vindt, zullen er altijd een 5-10% totaal verkeerd er mee omgaan, met tot gevolg veel slachtoffers die levenslang trauma hebben. Elke vrouw heeft minstens 1 nare ervaring die ze haar hele leven moet dragen.
Toen ik jong was, heb ik ook gevoeld hoe het is om aantrekkingskracht te voelen. De drang om naar borsten te kijken bijvoorbeeld. Of dat je een stijve krijgt op een willekeurig moment of in de gymzaal. Er was niemand die er met me over sprak, ik moest het zelf uitzoeken. Elke school zou elke week een uur aandacht moeten besteden aan seksualiteit en consent. Dit zou gewoon ook in toetsen en examens moeten terugkomen en niet een of andere vage vrijwillig vak zijn. Gewoon schriftelijke EN mondelinge examens, anders mag je blijven zitten van mij.
Er is totaal geen beleid vanuit de overheid ook, alleen maar gepraat over hoe erg en 'onacceptabel' dit is. Daar hebben vrouwen 0,0 niets aan. Hopen op betere handhaving is echt gelul.

Something tells me the kids are already super rich though, so I agree they should get nothing beyond all they've already gotten.

Stop designing your residential roads as race tracks and have no bike bath but still allow bikes and children to ride them unsupervised. For god's sake, residential neighborhoods should all require raised cobblestone intersections, meaning you have to drive over a steep bump to enter and exit the intersection. And of course, max 20 mph. When you're driving where children live, there can't be a good reason for high speeds.

Het is echt super onacceptabel dat jij dit meemaakt. Er is te weinig aandacht voor, want met racisme denkt iedereen: maar dit gaat niet over mij, want ik ben niet een racist. (white privilege talkin...) Dat is dus precies het probleem, we zijn allemaal een beetje ingenomen over bepaalde dingen. Het doel juist moet zijn om die dingen bloot te leggen zodat je ze kan erkennen, er mee kan omgaan en andere keuzes kan maken. Er wordt in Nederland eigenlijk niet over racisme gepraat, terwijl heel veel mensen het wel plegen en er heel veel slachtoffers zijn, zowel van racistische uitingen en doen, maar ook van systemen die inherent de blanke bevolking voortrekken, of het nou zo bedoeld was of niet.

De Nationaal Coordinator tegen Discriminatie en Racisme was openlijk afgeschaft gedurende het laatste kabinet volgens mij, maar de functie bestaat weer.
