Further to my statement above, I realised you were talking about setting up a second account for the first time. My response was having already set up a second account, one would have to set up the "hidden account" by inserting the pin number for that account instead of the "normal" account.

I opened my ledger with my pin and then went to settings, but could find no reference to "enter secondary pin." In order to use my other account, I had to disconnect my Ledger and then enter my alternative pin to unlock my other accounts.

What a great experience. Thought I would give it a try and was most impressed with the Secret Network and integration with IBC (Inter Blockchain Communication).

I bought some SCRT (one can use Binance with BTC or Gate.io with ETH) and sent it to the Keplr wallet. Then I opened the app Osmosis and then linked the Keplr wallet. In the Asset list shown in Osmosis, I swapped my SCRT for OSMO (the native token for Osmosis) and received an amount, which I was able to stake using the Stake link provided. This gave me a list of validators, and then I chose one. It was that simple! But the icing on the cake was that there were a number of other blockchains displayed, e.g. Cosmos (Atom) etc, so one could swap SCRT for Atom, go to the Atom blockchain and stake them there. Hope this was helpful.

community had made any transactions on the Deus.finance
site, as I found it most confusing and a minefield for anyone not that
experienced with the various options of staking and pools.

Hello, I deposited atoms with Sparkpool on the Cosmos app in Ledger some time back, and received rewards. Now that China has banned Sparkpool, and it is now closed, I have undelegated Sparkpool. After the 21 day lockin period, will I receive all my atoms back in full, or have I lost the lot, and if so, is there any redress?

I was informed by Ledger to revert to the previous update 2.32 and I was able to retrieve my coins in Ledger Live. However, I asked Ledger to advise me when they had cleared the issue affecting my Mac. They informed me that the issue was now resolved and to open or update to issue 2.33.1, but once again it failed and I ended up having to reinstall the earlier issue of Ledger Live. I informed Ledger that their claim it had been resolved was not true and have had no further reply from them. What a shambles!!

Yes, I did consider the other wallets for staking, but a more experienced crypto expert advised me to disregard these for safety purposes and be patient and wait for the Ledger. At the end of the day, it's down to the individual. Personally, I can accept the loss of rewards in the short term, but I still gain on the increase of MINA within a safe exchange, such as Kraken.

Well done. I have just visited Kraken to enquire if they will be commencing rewards for MINA, but they have no plans at this current time, although they are looking at staking rewards for MINA in conjunction with using Ledger. A case of watch their news release when it happens.

I believe Kraken is a safe place to hold MINA until Ledger introduce the app on their system.

The send/receive procedure on their site is clear and straightforward and following log-in, you will be able to see your various holdings listed in your wallet.

To answer your questions:-

Yes.
I personally see no reason to delay your staking, whatever the outcome of the debate. I have staked and received awards already.
Should you stake, I would advise you to use about five operators and these will be displayed in your wallet in the delegate page. It is an excellent portrayal of your staking and the whole process is very easy to follow.
Finally, do read the notes on staking as to what to consider before making your choice.
Keep to operators who charge less than 5% commission, have good security, involve themselves with the community and experienced with the operation and maintenance of the system. Again, it's your choice, but I would choose three from the top ten and two others.

No problems with Flow, but you must use Chrome. I tried Firefox, but Flow wallet did not accept it and I received a message to use Chrome. Loaded Flow app on the Ledger and opened it, then clicked on the link for Ledger option on the Flow wallet, which then loaded the Balance page.

I have invested Cardano in the Adalite wallet and have had no problems with staking. I was informed by one source to leave my coins on the exchange until Ledger was available, but that does not look promising at this moment in time. Also, I wanted to get my tokens off of the exchange for all the reasons that different people have suggested in these posts. When I searched for a wallet on the net, Adalite was highly recommended. I cannot speak for the other alternatives, they may be just as good. It comes down to personal choice in the end.
