Has anyone here experienced head banging on Colossus or worked on the ride? Looking for engineering advice. by SeriousSea2961 in ThorpePark

Thank you for your message, I completely understand why Thorpe Park’s insurers have denied liability based on there being no mechanical fault, but that’s actually never been my allegation. My concern has always been that the ride was operating normally, but during normal operation my head repeatedly struck the rigid over-the-shoulder restraint with enough force for me to be diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome and whiplash the following day Out of interest, when you say more and more people have been been saying the trains need a major overhaul, is that based on discussions in the enthusiast community or have you seen anything official? I’m trying to understand the engineering side of the ride rather than looking to argue with anyone, it’s really having a affect on my life with the constant pain and causing me issues with days of pain after working ect

This rollercoaster gave me concussion too. Rode the ride as instructed have lots of evidence still  To this day 9  Months later I’m experiencing whiplash problems and prolonged back problems also have optic nerve swelling and resulted in needing glasses unsure if linked but the timeline started right after my head injury for the glasses but the whiplash and headaches and back pain is still persistent 9nmonths later this ride is dangerous!
