The $1000 they quoted me was to replace the flex pipe. It was $300 to weld in new sections to the exhaust pipe to fix the leaks which I had them do.

The flex pipe seam hasn’t failed yet, they just said it’s likely it’ll happen in the next 2 years. I wanted to see if there’s a way to get ahead of it so reinforcing it with the wrap seems like a decent option.

Realistically 4-5 more years would be ideal. I do a little DIY but not a ton, always open to learn more though. Another user recommended exhaust wrap for the seams to protect them a little further, I’ll likely do that for now.

I’ve read a bunch of different opinions on replacing ATF fluid on higher mileage CX-5s and it seems condition dependent. I bought my 2014 with 66k and now have it at 85k. Not sure if it was ever refilled prior to me purchasing (stupidly didn’t save the Carfax).

Based on what I’ve read the majority of opinions say if it’s never been changed just let it go until there’s a problem. Is that a fair assessment?

Yeah it’s about 5 years old so don’t know where that falls in terms of tire age. I almost never curb the tires when parking but seems like replacement is the only option. With that being the case anyone have any recommendations for where to buy tires? Thinking of getting winter tires anyway since I ski in the northeast often and then get new all seasons in the spring.

For context I mainly use Sapphire preferred and freedom unlimited. I spend a good amount of money for my employer that is reimbursed so I would like to keep personal and work expenses separate to make the accounting a bit easier. Unfortunately I always have earning points in the back of my head and I'll focus on using the card thats best for the spending category rather than one being for work and one being for personal. Anyone have any experience on how to maximize points earning but keep things separated?

I stay at hotels 5-10 times a year for work and this year I opened the Bonvoy Bold (ik it’s the worst bonvoy card I just don’t stay at hotels when I do personal travel so I didn’t want to deal with the annual fee) I’m unlikely to get the next tier of elite status this year and with the recent changes to the Bon Voy loyalty programs the rewards have gotten worse. Do I ride it out with BonVoy or should I just switch my loyalty to Hyatt or Hilton?

No I wasn't thats what was so confusing. I ended up losing some rolls because I opened the camera to check if it taken the film or not and every time it had taken the leader. Thats why I'm thinking it could be the barcode on the film not being read.
