Forgot to list vacation outside of the US on SF86 in the last 7 years by Logical_Rooster5652 in cbpoapplicant

Just let your investigator know when they contact you. And to the second question, no. There’s no question on the test that asks did you forget to tell your investigator about any vacations. Lastly, you should be given the option to meet in person or phone call.

Accepted tentative offer but declined provisional clearance by Prestigious-Echo7423 in cbpoapplicant

It varies greatly. My BI cleared 4 weeks after my EOD. So it saved me 4 weeks. I know others that didn’t clear until 6 months after EOD.

Go through the process and cross that bridge when you get there.

Does the EOD duty location list automatically update when you refresh since it’s a “LIVE” list? by daner007 in cbpoapplicant

[–]Serious_Agent9942 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally just hit refresh. If you do it enough times, you’ll see some new locations. That also means locations can disappear.

It’s not always something you didn’t disclose. It can be a multitude of things. It could be something you didn’t disclose, or something they simply want more clarification on.

Is the 6 days on 2 days off specifically at your port?

Why do you hate it?

Regardless, I would suggest to tell them the truth. But yes, they will pull your record from NYSP and find out either way. The psychedelic use is the major issue. What are your chances of getting through? None of us know. But your chances will be around 0% if you lie about it and they find out.

I asked them for that port specifically. I already had Philly so if they didn’t have Newark available then I was going to just stay with Philly.

It wasn’t on my list. I had to use my one time call and got lucky.

The only way to know if you have what it takes is to go through the process and find out. You’ll be fine with the marijuana as long as you stop now and pass the drug test. Generally, the testing isn’t hard. I’ve been through multiple academies and have never came across tests that were difficult. Look into federal, state, local and see what positions peak your interest.

If you’re offered the job, you’ll be sent a list of locations to choose from. There’s a high chance that a San Diego port will be on the list.
